Hi,

This is a strange situation which is happening with me, where I am being harrased for loans which my ex-husband took.
My ex-husband took personal loans worth rs 2.5lacs just before we were separated. we got separated in June'06 and he moved out of the house and I filed for divorce in June'07 and got the divorce on Jan'08. It was a mutual consent divorce, where it has been clearly mentioned that we have no further financial dealings with each other.
I had collection agents visiting my place looking for my ex-husband and I have given them his contact no everytime, asking them to contact him.
Now I recieved a call from someone claiming to be from the Mumbai Police,threatening to come and take away my stuff worth rs 2.5 lacs.I have given them his last contact# which I knew and his mother's # as well.
Now my questions are as follows:-

1.The Loans which he took were personal loans and were taken just before our separation, I am not even aware of the exact amounts. I have not signed as his guarantor any where, am I in way responsible for his fraud???
2. I am divorced now and legally not responsible for any of his financial frauds.Can the collection agencies still call and harass me and threaten to take away my stuff?
3. Can I file any case against my ex-husband for causing me all these inconvenience?
