I have applied for a passport for my daughter named N Haripriya vide application No 444639 while I was serving in Indian Army in Assam through our Army Post Office channel to Regional Passport Office Guwahati(Assam). I got retired from Army on 31 Jul 2011. Till I retired I did not get my daughter,s passport. On repeated requests Regional Passport Office Guwahati has informed vide their letter No W300062/10 dated 20 Jun 2011 that police reports have not received by them. As I was to retire from service on 31 Jul 2011 and did not receive my daughter's passport till 27 Jul 2011, I wrote a personal application to Regional Passport Office, Guwahati on 28 Jul 2011 requesting to close the subject file since retiring and settling down at Chennai permanently from 01 Aug 2011. And would like to apply fresh at Chennai Regional Passport Office. But I have learnt that the subject file is not closed till date by Regional Passport Office Guwahati due to which I am facing difficulty in getting a fresh passport issued by Regional Passport Chennai. Moreover my daughter is getting married soon, and my would be son-in-law is employed in Australia and I have to start preparing the required documents for my daughter to proceed to Australia after marriage with her husband. Please close the subject file immediately and confirm.
Or else getting passport will be delayed and my daughter can not proceed with her husband in time.

I request you to consider the case on urgent basis being genuine as the future of my daughter is affected.

I Gaurav Tyagi S/o Ved Prakash Tyagi applied for passport on 29th Mar-2012 File Reference Number GZB-A023915-12. Police verification has been done around mid April (11th April-2012), but the application status is still reflecting "police report has not been received" and moreover I have inquired from Greater NOIDA sector Beta-2 Kotwali that my application is already dispatched from there (Dispatch number:414, Dated 16-4-2012).

Would really appreciate if you can look into this matter and check why police report has not been received after more then two months of verification.

Dear sir,

I have submitted my passport on 10th Feburary 2011 from ALigarh. After some time passport enquiry was showing that 10/12th Marsheet not recieved. Then I visited Passport Ghaziabad office in Feb, 2012 and gave them my 12th marsheet and later got my police n LIU enuiry done at my home town. Even now also passport enquiry portal is showing same message that 10th and 12th Marsheet not recieved. It has been more than a year since I applied.

KIndly look into this issue and resolve it.

I Ram Gopal Kaushik S/o Vijaypal Sharma had applied for my wife's passport on 19-Mar-12 File Ref no. is GZB-Z561112-12.
Police verification has been done around 1 month back, but the application status is still reflecting "police report has not been received".
Can you please look into the matter and check why the police report has not been received after more then one month of verification.
One more thing I have applied passport for my son also on the same day file Ref. No-Z561113 & passport status is "Passport is expected to be despatched by 26-06-2012 Subject to all documents being in order."
So I do not understand why the status is diffrent of my wife's passport while the polioce varification has been done on the same day.

I aplied my apssport to Ghaziabad office vide File Reference Number : GZB-A023962-11 and Application Date : 19-04-2011. It has been more than one year, I have no news of my passport. Four months are complete but no information and only showing that police verification is not received but my police verification is complete before three months back and complete file is sent from aligarh to ghaziabad passport office on as below:


As i checked in Aligarh passport office they give information that dispatch date of my file of passport from aligarh to Ghaziabad is Dis 1014 dt 16-04-2012.


As now at portal showing below:

When i went to ghaziabad passport office on 26 -june-2012 than they are saying its not update from gaziabad passport office and they may be update after 10 days.They said that it may take one year to made passport but i am required this urgently.




There are so many cases like mine.as below i sent mails to many peoples but no reply from any one.

Hello, the same thing happend to me, the solution to this is, please go to your police statation and ask them to resend a xerox copy of your police verification report. That worked for me! I waited for it for 4.5 months and nothing happened. Finally I went to local police station and pleaded them to resend a xerox copy of original report. Generally the passport office will misplace your report and that is the reason why you dont get the passport. After resending xerox copy I got my passport in 3 weeks.

Please go to your local police station and ask them to resend a photocopy of the report. The same trick worked for me and after resubmitting the report, I got my passport in 3 weeks. This happens when they misplace your verification report.
