Hello sir

I applied for change of address and additoin of spouse name in my passport on Nov 22, 2011 at Gurgaon PSK. My passport was still vlid for another 4 years. Passport officer canceled my old passport and allocated me file number is DL3070298129211 for new passport. He said passport would be issued from RPO Delhi.
My police verification was done within a week and as per Gurgaon police clear verification with no objection was sent on Dec 5 to passport office. I havn't recieved my passport yet.

When I check the passport status online I get following status:
Police has completed verification process on 15/12/2011. Your passport will be dispatched after 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office. You would receive an email/sms once the passport is dispatched

However this status has been there for long and I dont get any update. When I visit RPO Delhi, no one helps me. Everyone just says police report has not reached. But Gurgaon police has verified that they have sent the police report.

My old passport had valid visa for US and was still vlid for another 4 years. I need to travel urgently for office work. I cant travel now as passport officer had canceled my old passport when I applied for address change.

Please consider my complaint and take appropriate action regarding it.
