Dear Passport Authorities,

My life depends on the passport… I have a humble and bold request… I sadly applied for reissue of my passport on 5^th of December 2011 thru Tatkaal and I was told I will get my passport in 3 working days and it has been painful since then that nothing moved as promised.

• I have been checking the status online every day and the status never changed from, “Police Verification (PV) has been initiated and a PV request has been sent to SP Office, District Hyderabad. Your passport will be dispatched after Clear Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office. You would receive an email/sms once the passport is dispatched.”
• I have been calling the helplines every single day and they had no clue… they only readout the status message which I can see in the web portal.
• I had visited Ameerpet (Hyderabad) PSK… surprisingly the Center Manager was RUDE and SHOUTED and HUMILIATED… his name is Laxmi Narayana CH… I could not believe he is the head of PSK.
• Every 3 days I paid visit to the police station enquiring if my file reached, they humbly verified and said not a single new file has reached them
• I have visited regional passport office and they told the file is dispatched for Police verification
• I have visited DGP office and sent a recommendation to DGP V Dinesh Reddy himself about my passport worries… he politely said we shall verify and help… yet no progress.
• I wrote a grievance and the status of the grievance does not change… below are the details for your kind reference

You are not the first one.. Lakshminarayan Ch is not a responsible executive. He is the employee of Tata Consultancy Services. My experience has never been good dealing with the people or websites of Tata Consultancy Services. Govt. gave TCS the task to ease the process and make it more user friendly. But it made it worst.
