I had applied for renewal of my passport on May 18th vide file number HYDL00575411. I have visited the regional Passport office Hyderabad twice. One needs to wait 6 hrs in the queue for his turn when you finally encounter a Telugu speaking lady who cannot understand English. However, every time I was told it is waiting police verification. Actually the police had come and verified 3 months back. But their system keeps showing " Original Marriage affidavit is missing". I had submitted the marriage affidavit in both the occasions of my visit to passport office, but the system is not updated. Is anybody listening? The loss I am incurring in my profession because of this is unmeasurable. Honestly I don't know where to go and what to do.
