I have submitted my application for renewal of passport due to name change after marrige , on 5th Aug 2008 . File No. PNE-B015222-10 . Till now I have not received my new passport and no response from
Passport office even after continuous follow ups through email, telephone.

Telephone enquiry no. available on passport office website is always busy or no one picks it up.
The Grievance email id ’grvpne@nic.in’ provided on website is incorrect .

For initial 9 months , the status was just showing "Application in progress" . After continuous follow ups and finally escaltion to Ministry of external affairs , I was asked to resubmit Personal Identification forms for no reasons.

After I submitted the forms , the status is showing "Forms sent to Police authority.contact concerned police authority and get the report expedited". Till today I have not received any call from any of the police authorities for police verification neither they have visited my residence for same. I have enquired about my details in all nearby police stations and none of them have any details.

Even after this , I have done couple of followups with the passport office but haven't received any response. Please address this problem at the earliest and help me in getting my new passport in hand.
