Sir,
I have applied for a passport in 2009 and have not received it so far. I have got police verification 3 times after coming to Chennai office and filling the PP form thrice and all 3 times the police verification formalities were completed and last time when I came to Chennai on Feb 2011 it was confirmed that police verification was completed and they wanted me to wait for 10 days and i will get the passport , i dint get the passport and i visited sastri bhavan last week and after waiting for a whole day they mentioned they have misplaced the passport form and they want me to come after one week and they will try to search for the passport form. I am not sure what to do the officials are not concerned regarding this and they just say to come back later. i have to travel every time for 8 hours just to hear this ,i want to take this up legally what is the procedure please advice
