I am a student staying at kalyan and recently applied for passport. I have a complaint as well a suggestion!

The complaint here is that when we go for police verification we have to pay bribe otherwise our documents are not forwaded. When we go there later for enquiry of delay they give invalid reasons.

So, what i suggest is to make police dept. to compulsorily give a reciept to the applicants so that when we later go for enquiry they cant argue by giving invalid reasons. They cant say that they have forwaded the documents because the online status of passport can be checked. Also they cant say that there was any problem in documents submitted for police verification because they have given us reciept only after verifying all the documents.

I dint pay bribe today but i am afraid that my passport will be delayed. But we can take actions so that others dont suffer.

Please look into the matter and take appropriate actions.
