I had applied for my passport during my graduation from chennai on 13/03/2008.
But due to delay in passport office end i didn receive my passport till june 2008.Thereafter I had shift from chennai as my graduation was over.
Being an original resident of bhagalpur,bihar I asked chennai officials to transfer my file to patna .Thereafter I visited Patna office around june -July-2008 nd found out that my passport file application was received.But till date i haven received my passport nr have i got any intimation regarding it.Now when i Re applied for my passport from my place of work i.e surat where i have been staying for past 4 yrs the passport officials rejected my file saying that they need the closure report of previous application,
Now I dont know how to get closure letter when i even dont know my application no in Patna office.The Only application no i know is that of chennai's when i applied initially. I.E Z020496/08.My DOB is 12/07/1986.
Please do the needful.

we had applied for a passport at Regional passport office, Patna on dated. 20/10/2011 file reference Number details given below. police verification has been done by the Local Khutauna, police station in the month of December'2011.but on that time my father & my family went to Delhi with my father for medical treatment.Now all my family is present at home.we had applied for re-inquiry in passport office,Patna and after few days my brother went to passport office for inquiry he said that we have sent inquiry.We have contact our Local police station but he said your inquiry not received till dated 11/05/2012.
