Yes i had a word with pro but they are always use to say that i to wait or i must go my ner post office if their i am not receving any reply i have to ansal chamer passport office . when i had gone to post office they replied me that we are not allow to give such information and when i had went to passport office they use to say i have to .What should i do now i feeling hopeless after such a struggel i got a job i don't want to loose it but if i don't get my passport with in this month i loose my job. please help me please.

If the Passport office people are not giving you the proper response, then just send a written notice to the PRO of your area via registered post, mention all the details and ask them the proper solution.

I am Anokh Singh S/O Jarnail Singh R/O (Patti- Mastu Ki), V& PO-
Varpal, Amritsar (Punjab). I had applied for a passport vide file
number R00006808 dated 02 July 2008.

It has already taken 09 Months and I have made a number of visits to
the passport office Amritsar as well. But no one has been able to
provide a satisfactory reply to me. I have also checked the status of
my request through Internet a number of times. But the status shown on
passport site is "It is to regret that due to unavoidable
circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now
be despatched in a week's time" . This status has not changed since
eight months.

Through your medium, I request the concerned passport office to
please update me on the "unavoidable circumstances" due to which I
have not been issued with passport since last nine months.

The application for the passport was sent in the month of July and the
Police verification was also conducted the same month. Since then I am
being harrassed by the Passport Office.I still do not know as to how
many years is it going to take for the issuance of my passport?

In view of this, you are request to take up this case with the
concerned authority on my behalf and get my passport issued at the
earliest.

I am Pinkesh Kumar form Kota(Raj.).I have applied for passport on 12-Oct-2010 with file reference no.JPR-Z762669.
My police verification also done in NOV-2010 but still i am waiting for my passport daily i check status in Passport status page it showing from last 2 month that
"It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time".
Request to you please let me know what is the problem with my passport and when i will get this.I am waiting very badly for my passport.

I submitted my passport application on 21st Feb 2011 and suppose to receive the same by 4th May, as displayed on the website for passport enquiry status update. However the status was updated to "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time" on 9th May.
Does that indicate any problem from my end, like non-submission of document etc, and do I need to visit passport office personally?
