I have applied for a fresh passport of my mother Mrs. Jerusha Kandlekar. This application was submitted on 21st July 2010. I understand that it takes at least 45 days for the passport to be received to my residence. This would be approximately mid of September 2010.

The police clearance is completed from their end, ( I have personally visited Byculla police station and got a confirmation that a clearance was sent by them in August 2010. In September the online website showed a status of ' Dispatched' but now it shows ' application in process '. My sister visited the passport office but they did not entertain her and asked for more receipts.
