Myself satish chandra paliwal resident of 118,rajendra nagar orai,dist.jaoon(U.P.)

1. I got a tour from Bangkok that
why i apply for a valid Indian Passport on 08.2.2008 file no A027151 in my concern
Lucknow Passport office ,Lucknow, But i don't received any passport
yet.

2. I many time call to the office .

3. It is 6.4.2009 but still i am waiting for my passport. Passport is still in
process (status File given below)

File Reference Number (LKO-A027151-08) is either wrong or Information NOT available

4. You can understand it enogh time they taken.

5. I mantely feel strased due to passport status. I am feeling tourtured by the
passport office

7. Please let me know what remedies are available for me. And what steps to be
taken to get the remedies.

8. Please also let me know how i can use the right of information in this case.

9. And you know my tour is now expires due to passport delay. How i can got
companeste for the same.

Please advised me at your lavel best. I shall be thankfull to you.

Please help me i am feeling very helpless due to this case.

i filed my application in feb 09.
the police came to my residence for verification but as at that time i was not there at home was not able to meet them.
later i got a maill from the passport office jaipur asking for my correct residence addresss which i suplied in the month of may.
After that there has been no cummunication regarding the passport.
please tell me what to do next???

Dear Mr. Paliwal,

You must have heard about RTI Act. If you are not getting any information regarding the status of your passport you can send an application under RTI Act to the concerned deptt. The details regarding addresses of State's Public Information officer's are available on the website of Passport Deptt. You just have to send an application with attached DD or postal order of rs. 10 in favour of Public Information Officer. Put some points in your application, which you want to ask from the Deptt. and the deptt. will have to provide you the desired information within 30 days (ie from the date of receiving of your complaint). In most cases instead of desired information public is getting solution for their problem. Try this and hope you will get any positive response from them.

Hi,

I can see a new status againts my application from last one day. The new status is "Application is pending for want of Police Report."

This is my 6th mail to you, but I have still not recieved any clear response.
Please let me know, It will take how many days and when will I get my passport?
Will police verification happen in my case as passport enquiry@Bikaji said, no verification is required in your case as per the previous status.
I know a case, where someone applied after me and got the passport.
Let me know a tentative date so that I can plan my travel acordingly.

I have submitted application for passport renewal (3rd) on May 8, 2009. Don't received passport till July, 2009. I reached the office
and it was promised to be delivered within 10 days. I received the
passport in August 29, 2009. So received the passport in more than
4 months. But surprise to see that my name was not spelled fully.
Again submitted the passport for correction received in September,
but the change has been expressed in next page. Again visited and
requested for fresh print/copy which was accepted by the concerned
officer and submitted again the passport and was promised for dispatched by September 29, 2009. But the same was not received
by me till date.

Dear Admin/Advocate,

I have a same & common issue after submitting my mother's passport (File Reference Number : DLH-A032525-09)in the month of June everything has done then on Aug month got a letter to furnish 10/12 certificate for clarification of date of Birth; in this regard I met with PRO on Aug and he suggested to submit Affidavit (SDM) with FIR copy against this and accordingly same has been submitted to Bikaji Passport office on 17th Aug, and for this PRO have confirmed me all paper formalities has completed successfully & will get the Passport soon.

But still not received the same; I have even sent mails & Fax to them but didn't take this matter seriously. Today again they asking for fax with applicant's signature.

Hope at least this time they may do anything.



Now please advice me what should we do.

We hope anyone must be there to think about these kind of issue & systematically resolve each applicant problem.

I'm vinodh kumar, applied passport on Feb 08, still not yet received my passport. I completed all the verification by Mar 08 itself.But somehow they lost my report from salem(Permanent address).

Few months ago, In the chennai office they asked me to fill up a CC form, again they came for verification and still not yet received my passpore. No one is responding properly. when i enquired in salem office they asked me to do the enquiry in coimbatore office(present address). when i do so in coimbatore office they're directing me to enquire in chennai office.

I dont know what the hell is happening? It seems, They are playing with me.

I have submitted my passport application on 26/10/2009 at 10:15 AM under File Reference No. DLH-F031523-09, till date it is showing the status of pending due to "Application is pending for want of Police Report on passport website, where as the fact is that an officer Mr. Satbir Singh , Contact No. 09868599877 from police CID divison from Srinivas Puri Police station already visited my house on 22/11/2009 around 4:30 PM and verified my details and collected some more documents after verifying the originals.

Request Passport office Kindly to advise the exact Time Frames (TAT- Turn around Time) required for the each process .

1. Time taken by Police to visit your house for verification after submission of Application at passport office.
2. Time taken by police to submit the report after verification of individual and updation of the same by passport office on their website.
3. Total time consumed for the Issuance of the passport to an Individual by passport office following all processes and procedures.

4. Do we really need to TIP or bribe these officials for faster processing.

Chavi,

There are two verifications done by the Police.One by the LIU (Local Intelligence Unit) & the other by the Local Police Thana under whose jurisdiction your address falls.

In your case, the Police personnel who visited you was from the LIU & since your Local Police Thana guy still hasn't visited you so your Police report is still pending.
