I had applied for the passport on 11/04/2010 at Bangalore. The passport status website showed "Police verification received and your file in in line for further processing" for more than 3 months (from 12/5/10). So later, I converted it into Tatkal on 29/07/2010 and I was promised that my passport will be dispatched on 05/08/10. But, I didn’t get my passport nor the passport website was updated. So, I met the APO at the Koramangala Office and he asked me to write a letter to the RPO stating this. After this, I was informed that the passport will be dispatched on 09/08/10. But till now, I haven’t received my passport and the passport status website doesn’t reflect any changes and still says “The promised date is 05/08/10”. Please do the needful.
