My brother's daughter Ms. Chitra applied for passport through Chennai passport office vide her appln No w160608. One between the police inquiry is over. Yet when I visit the status report it reads as under
Unable to get the status because of one of the following reasons :

Incorrect File No. / Year / Date of Birth - Please try again

Application was submitted more than one year back

Your Passport might have been despatched a month back and has not returned to us

Mail us your Grievances / Clarification : pptgrievance@tn.nic.in

I mailed to the addressee and the nodal officer delhi but of no avail. Even my daughter's was done so and I had to fight for a year and got it after writing "If a competitive exam is conducted for harassing the public and inflicting mental torture I am damn sure the RPO Hyd will be the topper which worked"
Now I am experiencing for my brother's daughter.RPO everywhere is indifferent to consumers' service? kindly assist me to notice the status report at the earliest-regards vaidya
