Hi,

I have applied for pasport, details of which kindly find below.
It has been more than 4 months.
I have made 2 visits to the passport having to skip the days work at my organisation which tantamount to a substantial cut in my pay cheque and expenditure in terms of transport charges and not the least having to bear the stress and agony.
I have converted my application to tatkal on the 15th of this month and was promised that the passport would be dispatched on the 22nd of this month notwithstanding i have received a letter only yesterday requiring me to produce a proof signed by the nitaray or gazatted officer that I reside in Karnataka. I would like to ask is why was this not brought to my attention all these days? All this hoola hoop is extremely frustrating.
The emails sent to the SMTP poblr@dataone.in and rpo.bangalore@mea.gov.in always bounces back, it fails to deliver on every occasion. I am having a very sour experience with the pasport office like multitude of others.
