Dear Sir

I submitted a query online to know about the option to change my last name in my passport. I got a call from Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Addreses -Ansal Chamber, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi. Mobile - 9711166941.

He told me that he can help me out and I will get my new passport in 10 days. He took my old passport and Rs 3000.
Next Day he gave me a file number which was not valid and said he will return my old passport next day. After that he never pick my call. Almost 15 days has , he has not returned my old passport. Every time I call him, he SMS me saying he will return my old passport today.

I tried to reach his office, but office was locked. I am not sure if he has office there or not.

I am completely stuck now. I don't have my old passport nor i have new file number to track.

I am not sure what to do.

Any help is really appreciated.

Please let me know if i have to file a FIR against that person or what action i can take against him.

You may go to Police Station and file a FIR against Neeraj Sharma asap, or otherwise your passport may be used for any illigle activities.
