I really have no clue that how to get my passport back. I had given my passport for the correction as there was typing mistake for Passport office itself. When i was submitting my passport i was told that it will take 15 days to correct it now it has been more than 4 months and still the status is showing that "Police Report has not been received." while i had given my passport for the correction. I had given all the documents which were required by the passport office. I dont know why so much time is being taken for the mistakes which has been done by passport office itself.[/FONT]

I will not be surprised if i don't get any response as it has become a habit for the government sector to ignoring the problems. I have written a number of mails to passport office but as usual there is no reply. Even the landline no. 0522-2305130 always gets busy.

Dear sir,
i have applied for passport in january 2011 from visakhapatnam .

my application number is a003048 dated 11.02.2011.

my wife has also applied on same date and from visakhapatnam . We got her passport six months back.

but my passport application is same "police report not recieved"

i have called several time in passport office visakhapatnam , but they are not picking up the phone.

passports of the application number of around a004200; and dated 28.04.2011 also showing dispached status.

why there is delay in dispaching the passport?

I have applied my passport in July, 2011. In September month status showed that police verification is clear and it will deliver on 19 November. But now is January, 2012 and I did not get my passport yet. Status shows that " It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time". This status is showing from November month. My detail is as follow:

with respect i want to say that i have not received my pass port after submitting my application on 28-12-11 at Ghaziabad passport office. my application status shows that police report is clear and passport about to dispatch on 15-02-12. today it is 16-04-12 but i still have not received my passport.

I Ms.Rekha Ukirde applied for passport refer file no-- A041428 on dtd: 01st Dec. 2012. I completed all formalitites and submitted all documents also. As after police verification also again I submitted all relevant documents to passport office again. Still there is no response and not received passport. Passport office people also not giving proper respone.

Regional Passport Office, Patna on January 9.

I'm ADIL IQBAL, File No. PAT-A004076-12. My date of Birth is
07/06/1991. I'm a resident of Gaya, living in the area under the
jurisdiction of Civil Line Police Station. The enquiry officials
visited my home on January 26 and they said OK. I had been assured of
receiving my passport by the end of March.

However, I've been checking my status online since long, only to get
the status which says, "Police Inquiry not Received". Kindly do the
needful. I've really got frustrated due this delay because I've to
apply for scholarships in foreign nation which have a pre-requisition
of holding a passport.

There is no response and the passport has not received till now.

Several time i tried to contaced with police. They said that it is already delivered to RPO kolkata.
RPO kolkata is saying that report has not been recieved.

I Purva Sharma, had applied for a fresh passport dated- 7th Sep, 2011, File No.(A064411). From Oct. 2011,passport status is coming "Police enquiry is completed. File is under processing" but till now i haven't receive my passport as it is already more than 8 months, i have also tried to communicate with concern person regarding same but it is of no use. I am very much frustrated by the way of work. You are requested to please help me in availing the passport. please do the needful i will be very much obliged to you.

Outside the passport office, there are so many brokers which are ready to do this for Rs.3000 and promising to get the passport in a one week. If this is possible in one week then why there is so much delay? This is only corruption sir, please help me.
