I have a horrible experience in getting my daughter's minor passport. I had applied for the minor passport at Chennai RPO on 06-Jan-2010 and at the time of application, I was told the wait time is only 45 days (maximum). Now, it is more than 60 days and I am yet to receive the minor passport. As of yesterday the status is "Your file in Under process" and this has been the status since my application was submitted 2 monthsago. Due to this delay, I have now lost 2 opportunities to travel to the US. My visa stamping is also delayed.

I have written about 5 emails now to the Chennai RPo grievance cell but I haven't received any response from them at all. Once I got a response from the anti-corruption cell directing Chennai RPO to act on the complaint but even then, no response from them.
