Hi im Raj Kumar Jagannathan from Dharmapuri.I applied for my passport on 20-03-2008 from Vellore (file no. Z152059, year:2008) while i was studying in college. But till jan 13 2010 i did not receive my passport. When i checked for the status it mentioned that i have to submit P.P form. So i went to chennai and submitted the form but the status did not change. So again i went to Chennai and they told that i have to fill and submit the P.P form and so i submitted it for the second time. After some four months the police verification came to my home twice(sine i have submitted P.P form twice).Now it is around six months passed after the police verification but still i dint receive my passport.

So again i went to chennai and they told me to contact the SP office in vellore. But the officer in vellore told that they dispatched the file back to chennai on 18-06-2008. I
dont know what to do and what is the procedure i have to follow. Please tell me some suggestions that i have to do and what is the procedure to apply for RTI. Thank you in advance.

I am Aswathy Dino.I applied for passport on 07/02/2011.My file number is B008110.Earlier my status shows expected to despatch on10/04/2011.After that date status also changed as 'it is to regret that due to some unavoidable circumstances passport is not despatched and expected to despatch this week '.But now the status aloso changed.Now showing the expected date of despatch as 02/05/2011.What should I do?
