The person Shrawan Kumar Verma who is sitting at Jaipur passport officer as Regional passport officer don’t have common sense of how to behave with individual when we are going to meet him to discuss some technical fault in your online passport registration system. He misbehaved and didn’t accept the system technical fault which I faced during making the online passport application. It seems that he is completely non educated, unprofessional man who is sitting such a responsible position where he doesn’t know how to respect an individuals and how to resolve there problems.

I took my daughter new passport application appointment on 22nd of December, 2009 after finishing the stuff it shows me the appointment date message box for 25th December, 2009 and when I moved to next page it shows me month December, 2009 and January, 2010, I select December, 2009 (it was default selected), but no date were there into next date drop down list box. I tried again and then it shows me 25th date into date drop down box for month of December, and when I finally confirm the appointment it generates the PDF with date of 25th Jan, 2010. I was surprised with that technical problem and I called to passport office immediate and somebody picked up there and I explained complete problem and he asked me to come on 29th because there have holiday on 25th December.

Today I visited the Jaipur passport office and explained the complete problem at counter no. 5 and they denied for accepting that technical fault and asked me to take another appointment. Since I was not satisfy with there answer and went to Mr. Shrawan Kumar Verma (regional passport officer), I explained him the complete problem but he also said that there cannot be any problem in there online system, I said sir this system developed by human and my self also an IT engineer and working since last 12 years and there could be a bug into your system , why you are not try to understand, there are so many bugs still into ms windows till date, so why you are not accepting that technical fault into your system.

Then he said “don’t waste my time and take another appointment, you guys are wasting our time unnecessarily and asked me to get out from his office and said if I come again for such nonsense issue I will kik you off from building”.

What is this, is it the public dealing by a senior passport officer?

I was really surprised for his behavior and his public responsibility. I really have doubt on his educational and professional skill and thinking why he is sitting such responsible position.

Sir, I would like to request you to please take some immediate action against him because such kind of people doesn’t have rights to sit such a responsible position.

i submit my applicatoin on 8 march 2010 under taktal at jaipur office with full fee 2500/- I just want to change my address from chandigarh to Sri ganganagar. from 8 march to till 23 march there is no any status on passport office website and i call jaipur office they anwer rudely. will some one tell what i do next.

i totally agree with this gentle man, Mr. shravan kumar RPO is totally unprofessional person, i also faced some problem and due to him i lost my career and life time oppurtunuty , i have come to know that he is from kerala cadre but due to political power he is taking undue advances of innocent people. i am wondering why india is sttill beign called democratic nation. i have total proofs against him to even get him to court of law. lets start a wave against this person and save the innocent people of rajasthan.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE with MR.Mahendra nad Shankar lala IT Gentleman,I have known Jaipur passport office since last 10 years and there is a drastic change in the way this office now.The work is very smooth and common people are heard.One does not see that he was able to meet RPO easily in one day which was not possibel befoe Shrawan Verma took this job.He cannot be a YES MAN for every one.You do not have to pay any Bribes NOW,isnt is amazing in Jaipur.
I rubbish all the complaint as they seems to be personal and malafide.What can an RPO do if there is technocal problem,he can only direct someone but cannot amend himself.

I disagree with you. This is very obvious that everyone will talk about their individual case and I am sorry to say that even you are giving your opinion refering your case. one person can be wrong, not thousands of people with thousand of different complaints can be wrong. I dont want to discuss my case over here because I dont want anyone like you to just letgo such situations which an individual who has suffered can only understand. I have seen old people waitng for hours in the queue and when their turn comes they are thrown out of the office with some stupid reply. This is jst a basic example. If you have seen the change in the office then its not because of mr. verma, its because of people like us who needs the change for betterment. I am not having the time right now to write down more or I could keep on writing.

He is stupid un educated man not fit to sit in that chair.. I also have similar experience with this stupid illeterate guy.. People supporting him must be either his henchman or a agent

Mr. Verma is like the most of other govt officials who don't know how to talk to people and try to understand their problem. I also had a case of my wife where in he made us run for 5 months here and there, completed the entire process including the police verification and then simply said that the application is invalid. He threatened that if we'll argue he'll fine us.

How come he come to know after 5 months that the application is invalid that too when the police verification reports were fine. This guy simply said that we cant apply from Jaipur passport office as our present address is not Jaipur. However, our permanent address is Jaipur. Apart from this everything else was fine regarding the application.

Now i don't exactly know this rule and may be he is right but then how come they observed this after 5 months and doing all the processing. Why they have not rejected the application at time of submission itself? Who is responsible for the torture we have gone through in these 5 months and finally we missed a abroad trip because of unavailability of the passport . He was just not trying to understand and said that its our fault and he'll fine us if we argue any further.

This is a chat we had with him in Nov 2010 and its April 2011 now and still the online status doesn't show us that the application is closed. Until it gets closed, we cant apply from the passport office belonging to our present address as well. I am trying to reach on the telephone numbers given on their website right now and nobody is picking up. Its been half an hour I am trying now. I cant complaint as well as that complaint link on their site shows some error and it is not opening up.

Can anyone please tell me how can I complaint about these irregularities. Do we have any such forum where in I can file my complaint?

i have submitted my application on 27th dec 2010.on 9th feb i checked my status -police report is clear and passport is expected to be dispatched by 27th feb 2011.i was so happy because aginst my expectations "indian gov." was doing well.but on 1st march status was - furnish attested copy of birth or school certificate in support of your date of birth.i submitted both.but status doesnt changed even after 1 month.i went their,they said their is a spelling mistake in your father's name in birth certificate.i send my birth certificate for changes.even the MCD department, they had taken more than 20 days.i dnt know when will i gt my passport.my husband is in middle east for 4 months and n i m here only for some stupid reasons.my kid is also waiting for got admission in school there.

But My police verification is not completed, so please take suitable action on my passport application please do it its my humble request
