I have applied for passport in june 2007 from Chandrapur. As, chandrapur is small place, so our passport head office is Nagpur. Police verification also done.But after completion of 7-8 months, i didnt got my passport.



I went to passport office they told me that transfer the file to Hyderabad

and get police verification done from there. So, on Feburary 14 , 2008, my file shifted to hyderabad.

But the File no given to me from Nagpur office is wrong, and in meanwhile November 24, 2008 i got married. After struggles i got my File number. In first week of July 2009, we went to passport office to request them to reopen the file. It got opened and by the end of July 2009, police verfication got completed.

We checked online the status of my file noumber, it displayed by August 25, 2009, they will dispatch.But, more then two months nothing happened.



We went to passport office, they told that mother name is missing. But i have a xerox copy of my application applied from nagpur, which contains the mother name.Inquiry main told us come again, i will fix ur appoint with PRO.



By the end of October 2009, i got a letter from PRO office that either submit the paper of address aur pay penalty. We went to passport office

they told we have to submit address change papers, so i submitted and as i got married,he asked me to write a application to PRO, about the situation, may be u need not to pay penalty.



After, 20 days no reply from passport office, we again went. The inquiry person changed and she told me pay penalty then only we will clear the file.When i asked ,what happened to my application return to RPO.She behaves like she dont know anything.



I will pay the penalty if there is no option, but i must know the information

about my application to PRO. Is, it just for time pass they told me to write

aur why not they told me that day itself to pay penalty.Atleast i need not to come to passport office again and again.And after paying penalty is it sure that they wont create any problem further and i will get my passport.



If they wont give passport for 10 year, i will not change my address.

My father got retired from Govt service still he stayed 2 years there after retirement, that passport will come. I need not to go for marriage because passport department work is not completed.



I asked 4-5 times in nagpur office to cancel it.I will try for fresh from hyderabad, they directly told not possible to cancel.



Its very difficult to go again -2 to passport office for small aur any inquiry because they working hours are less and queue are very long.

My File reference number is HYDA013791/08.

Please, help me to get my passport soon.

SUB: Regarding the delay in issue of passport - Lost an oppurtunity to work in abroad.

I,myself Md. jaffar hussain, S/O Mustaq hussain, R/O Khammam town had applied for passport on 19 jun 2009. the file number is w60867709. I had completed my MBA and even got an oppurtunity to workin Saudi. Though the police verification was cleared , I did'nt receive my passport. so, i approached enquiry office in secunderabad on 22 dec 2009. they asked me to submit the personal particular form and i did so. again thre police verification was done on 12 jan 2010, and the report was cleared . but i didn't receive my passport yet.
Meanwhile, i lost an oppurtunity to work in saudi mentioned above. so, i kindly request the Rpo authorities to look into the matter and release the passport at the earliest.

Hello Sir/Madam,

My name is sravani. I applied for passport in September 2010 ,in the same week itself police verification is done. My File no is:HYD-Z156555. After 90 days it is showing the status that "It is regret to cause the inconvenience in dispatching the passport.we will dispatch it in a weeks time". The same message is showing from last 2 months...I am unable to understand that what is the problem in dispatching it.


Please can anyone help me in this as i am working for software industry they want to send me onsite. Please show some solution to this...

Complaint regarding Nagpur Passport Office staff blindness or possibility of corruptions.

I mailed to grv.jscpv@mea.gov.in even at Nagpur office but no reply and no action at all so I am putting my complaint here also .............

Respected Sir/Madam,


I am one of the citizen of Nagpur city, I found something unbelievable at Nagpur Passport office. When I visited on 3rd March to there, I saw one person who did not have proper document like his main Passport Form show different data and birth date and his document shows other birth date, I told them but they ignore me, then I feel they would be return form submition counter and they would be correct their mistake. But I surprised they submitted their Form very easily. It’s really unbelievable to me. I strongly believed that without proper verification of certificate, passport will not be issue, but now I feel I was wrong.

But still I was believed on system if there is mistake from counter person then other person would be checked and stop the process but when I got information, that the person completed his police verification so soon. (While casual talking I took his mobile No just to make conformation of process) I conformed that something wrong is going on in Nagpur Passport office. I feel that I have to make a complaint regarding that to you before proceed to other.



I am not Enemy of that person, but I am enemy of corruption and blindness in work. I don’t know how you will react on this. Don’t take wrong, take it positively. My intention is not bad or don’t want to expose your employee mistake or corruption. Please correct it if anything wrong by your employees otherwise people like me will not believe on Passport issued by Nagpur Office. I think you know that rumor and wrong information can easily spread in our people.






Expecting good work from you. please support to avoid Corruption or Blindness/Mistake in work. I may be wrong that counter person did corruption, if he didn’t then defiantly its blindness/mistake in work. please correct it within time so as people can strongly believe on Passport as identity proof and people like those may feel "CHAL JATA HAI" got lesson that Passport not so easy without proper verification and document.


Believe on me I will not expose this thing outside if I know about your proper action.

Dear sir,
My self SACHIN GOVINDRAO BHANDURGE. My Passport file no. is NGP-Z750426-11. Sir my police enquiry has been over over in the month NOVEMBER, but on enquiry status shows YOUR POLICE REPORT HAS NOT BEEN RECIEVED, so I want to know about status of my passport. when will I get my passports?
