This is with respect to delay in Renewal of passport of my minor daughter AFRA KHAN

I have submitted the Renewal for my daughter AFRA KHAN passport on Jun 26 2012 who is minor(Age 7 Years). Still Police Verification is not done for my minor daughter. I came to know that from Police they have not received the application form from Passport Office. When I spoke to Passport officials they said they sent to Police department on Jun 27 2012. I am unable to coordinate the both departments and very difficult to identify who is correct and who is wrong on giving the right information. As per my understanding/knowledge Passport will be issued to MINORS within 2 to 3 weeks and didn’t understood the delay.
Can you please look into this and process the Passport ASAP to enable to relocate from India.. Can you please let me know the status of the application form.

Suggestion: Why cant we have software system similar to Courier company where the document status can be tracked from one location to another location till it dispatches.




1. Applied Passport on Jun 26,2012 and Police Verification is not for my daughter who is Minor. Enquired all Police Stations of Cyberabad and Hyderabad and did’nt found application form and Police advised us to go for initiate Fresh Police Verification and or Fresh Application form. It seems the application form is missing. Do we need to give Fresh Application form or can we go for Tatkal?
2. Do we required to approach Tolichowki PSK(Passport Seva Kendra) or RPO, Secunderabad for Fresh/Tatkal Application?
3. Is it possible for us go for Tatkal now?
