In 1999, I applied for passport in Trichy office. It is not processed due to insufficient documents.
Then again applied through postal(application no.A045659/99) and got Passport through Trichy Office.

Now I apply for renewal of passport in Chennai Saligram PSK.
They are saying the status of first file is not available in the system and aksed me to get status from Trichy RPO..
Trichy office is refusing to give the status and asked to process through chennai PSK.
But in chennai psk, they are not allowing me without status of first application.
Please help me how to proceed to get my passport renewal.
