Dear Sirs,

This is in reference to subject matter. I have applied for correction in Pan Data to NSDL- Pune twice through online acknowledgement no. 881020205428252 dated 10.11.2011 and acknowledgement no. 881020205490526 dated on 17.11.2011), but till date there is no corrective action taken for NSDL- Pune.
The Pan card updation has been held by NSDL- Pune due to my name as mentioned in my passport is Mohammad Najmul Hoda and in voter ID card is as Mohd Nazmul Hoda (i.e.; NSDL- Pune asked me to provide elaborated name Mohammad in both document).

I have submitted two documents for change/ pan card correction data as mentioned below;

1. For identity point of view‐ I have submitted my passport copy and
2. For correspondence address updation‐ I have enclosed Voter ID card with application/ change request form.

In spite of that NSDL- Pune asked for provide;
1. Proof of Communication Address does not contain first name in expanded form as mentioned in application.
‐ Submit proof of address where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.

I would like to clarify that, Mohd and Mohammad (i.e.; elaborated form of Mohd) is the same and for this confusion both documents (i.e.; Passport and voter ID) has been enclosed with PAN change request form.
Please be noted that my permanent address is same as mentioned in passport and as well as in PAN record. In spite of that, it is surprising that NSDL asked me to provide proof of address where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.

Please be noted that, the purpose of updation means, I explicitly desired to update/ inform IT department regarding my present location and details, for smooth flow of documents from IT point of view, whereas NSDL- Pune does not want to do such corrections requisition made by individual and become obstruction in between individual and IT department.

This is a serious concern, whereas individual want to become a transparent with IT department and providing
updation on present location and other details as well as some corrections regarding my father’s name and this mistake was done by NSDL itself for which I am paying money, despite NSDL again become obstructionist.

Furthermore, as stated in application form “I/We, the applicant, do hereby declare that what is stated above is true to the best of my/our information and belief” means whatever information provided in the submitted form are TRUE, there should not be question of doubt.

Officer who is working on this subject matter should understand the purpose of change request as well as respect the enclosure i.e.; Passport copy and voter ID card copy, both are also issued by Govt. of India.

I request consumer court forum please take necessary action and provide me suggestion/ concurrence. It is a serious concern of Indian civil society.

I would like to brief the consequences and needful taken by me step wise as follows;

• First mail response received from NSDL- Pune on subject matter and they asked me to provide;

1) Proof of Communication Address is not provided with the application form.
- Submit proof of address where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.
2) Document provided as proof of father's name does not have name of applicant as per application.
- Submit proof of identity of applicant where father’s name in application exactly matches with father’s name in proof.
3) Name in Proof of Identity does not contain first name in expanded form as mentioned in application.
- Submit proof of identity where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.
4) Name in Proof of second address does not contain first name in expanded form as mentioned in application.
- Submit proof of address where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.

Upon receipt of this mail, I had a discussion with customer care on subject matter. Customer care representative suggested me to re-submit change request with required documents.
I have re-submitted through above mentioned acknowledgement no. 881020205490526 dated on 17.11.2011, in response NSDL again asked me to provide;

• Second mail response received from NSDL- Pune on subject matter and they asked me to provide;

1) Proof of Communication Address does not contain first name in expanded form as mentioned in
application.
- Submit proof of address where name in application exactly matches with name in proof.

Upon receipt of second mail, I once again discussed with customer care representative and clarified the concerns, but he/ she is not able to conclude the matter.
Furthermore, I approached through electronic communication to various income tax officers including Sh. Mukesh Chand Joshi Chairman- CBDT on this matter but till date there is no response and corrective action taken.

In view of the above it is surprising that, nobody intervenes into this matter and provides concurrence. I can express one sentence for this situation:

” The system itself want that the Indian citizen follow the way as followed by corrupted lobby in respect of income tax”. How India will shine?
