My PANCARD was approved and a number was assigned. Unfortunately, when TIN mailed the PAN card to me by speed post, I was away from home and therefore did not receive it. When I called them, I was told to reapply for the same card. I told them that I have already gone through the lengthy process of applying and have also paid for it. All they had to do is simply resend it at my expense. I asked the representative to talk to his manager. He refused to let me speak with a manager. I told him that this is simply a harassment. He said re-applying was the only solution. I told him that I cannot sit at home everyday waiting for the PAN card. I urged him to send it again to my address. Why do they even want me to be there personally? It's not like a PANcard can compromise national security or anything like that. He refused to re-send it and told me to re-apply again and again for the rest of my life. Their laws and procedures are made by braindead and demented bureaucrats simply to harass the citizens and extract bribes from them. India may call itself democracy, but the government is communist. While these idiots are busy treating this stupid card like a top secret and harassing citizens, those Paki's are blowing India's parliament, hotels, and trains. Stupid M***F***s!
