My Father, SanthanaKrishnan has been issued 2 Pan Cards as per office records. He is using only one Pan Card - ABKPN4148H, issued on 18th Nov 1999.
My father received another letter that a new Pan Card has been issued - ABVPN5661Q on 5th Nov 2002, and further asked for a photograph and signature so the new Pan Card can be delivered.
My father had never applied for a new Pan Card and has been using the original Card number for all transaction where ever required. My father has raised this issue several times but there has not been any positive response. Would someone please take the necessary action and inform us how to proceed
