Dear All south indians
If U are using your short initial against in place of u r surname u will not get PAN card. You have to submitt form in expanded surname. For ID proof or Address proof u have to submit documents with expanded surname.Ur ration card, telephone bill, university degree certificate ... all with short form of surname unlike north indians. So please ensure the docs are with expnded surname exactly matches with expanded name u written in the form.or forget PAN card getting from a north indian city.
