    Default Complaint against a shopkeeper

    Hi,

    This is with regards to an invertor battery which i had bought from a local shopkeeper on 23rd Jul 08 and got a warranty of one yr which is valid till 23rd Jul 09.

    The battery went defective in Jun09 and after many follow ups with the shopkeeper, the problem is not getting resolved. Inspite of the defective battery being in warranty he has clearly refused to replace it.I have the hardcopy warranty card with me.

    Would want to take this matter to consumer court for justice and relief. Please assist.

    Unhappy abuse and assult against shop keeper

    plastow lane post office (nisa local) 8-9 Sundridge Parade, London, Kent BR1 4DT

    while i asked my two year old son he can choose a chocolate as a treat for being well behaved, he went over to choose one while i watched him from the post office que, he looked up at me and asked if he can this one, as i was about to say yes, the shop keeper by the door, snatched it from my toddlers hand and shouted 'he always want chocolate, you need to teach him'
    i replied excuse me 'teach him what i come in here twice a month what do you mean' he then pushed me away towards the door (i am 4 months pregnant) and told me to leave the shop another customer stepped in and told him ' excuse me but please do not put your hands on this lady' he screamed get out of the shop and the other shop keepers joined in in telling me to leave, i am extremely hurt by this, i found myself in tears expecially as he pushed me. the shop is cluttered with things sticking out of everywhere i could have easily have tripped over something and lost my unborn baby. i wish to take serious action. i have a witness number who told me to complain and he will be a witness gladly.

    MY SELF Mr.vikas brahambhatt, on 21/2/2011 i was went to market for purchesing cloths ,when i was in shop the shop keeper give me the bill of colthes i told he that the vat is not collect by the coustomer but he ignoe n i have to pay the very big amount to shopkeeper ,but the other shopkeeper dont collect the vat with the bill .can i wrong or write why i should pay the vat with the bill.by this time the shopkeeper treated me very badly .can u sujest tome what i should i do.

    Default complain against Easy Day(Magneto Mall situated in Raipur Chhattisgarh)

    Hi,

    This is with regards to an T.V which i had bought from Easy Day Shoping Mall situated in Raipur C.G on 17-03-2011and got a warranty of Two yr which is valid till 16-03-2013.

    When i Checked the T.V I found It was defective and after many follow ups with the shopkeeper, the problem is not getting resolved. Inspite of the defective T.V being in warranty he has clearly refused to replace it.I have the hardcopy warranty card with me.

    Would want to take this matter to consumer court for justice and relief. Please assist.

    Angry Shopkeeper cheating and misbehaviour

    This is with regard to a shopkeeper of Shyamnagar Area, Kolkata, opposite Aditya Hospital. It is a panwallah-type of shop which also recharges mobiles. I went for a recharge of my Airtel mobile to this shop. He took the money and assured me that my mobile will be refilled by the time I reach my home. But the mobile never got recharged. During the weekend, I went to the shop and told him about this. Instead of accepting his fault, he started hurling abuses on me and started pushing me hard to the ground. His drunk friends also joined him in this misbehaviour and forced me to leave or be ready to face dire consequences.

    I told this to my elder brother and my parents, but they feel I should forget this incidence and dont do anything towards it. I seek your opinion on this and want strict action to be taken against this miscreant so that this does not get repeated on any other person.

    Angry Shoe of Lee Cooper purchased during sale torn in just few weeks

    I have purchased a pair of 'Lee Cooper' brand shoes from M&B Footwear in Jan. 2011.

    At the time of purchase when I asked why the discount is being offered, I was told that there is a surplus stock of shoes.

    Just within a few weeks of purchase the shoe started cracking at many places. I was wondering whether a defective or a duplicate shoe is given to me. When I reported the matter to shopkeeper in the last week of March 2011, he said there is no guarantee on shoes 'on sale'.

    I have never seen the shoes cracking within a few weeks of their purchase.


    I have sent the notice to him by registered post to refund the money. He has not replied even after 2 weeks.

    what should be done.

    Please change the D.M.S shopkeeper of Lakshmi Bai Nagar,near Sanatan Temple.Very bad in behaviour,abuse to the people.Please change this shopkeeper in 4 days .I hope you will take action against him.

    Default Shopkeepers charging more than the maximum retail

    Dear Team,

    We at dombivali (E) are facing a problem where in Shopkeepers are charging 1 or 2 Rs more than the retail prices in product like milk , cold drinks and many other food items. At time of crises it becomes very difficult for customer and we are help less in that case.

    Please help all of us.

    Default 1 year warranty modem not repaired in 4 months

    I had bought a Huawei modem from a shop owner in my locality
    worth Rs. 2000/- (which did not have any mrp written over it though) on 9 sep 2011.
    With that i also took a bsnl 3g sim card worth Rs 500.
    I used it for around 20-25 days and suddenly i realized all 2gb was consumed.
    And around 10 days later there was some problem in the modem and after complaining a few times to the shopkeeper he finally exchanged my modem with an old modem.
    About one and a half month of buying this second(and old) modem, it too was not working properly and
    again after complaining a few times to the shopkeeper i asked him to get it repaired
    (as the modem came with a one year warranty).
    He had agreed to get it repaired (though he was hesitant to take it), so i gave it to him on 27th oct.
    Till date(22nd feb 2012) i have taken dozens of visits to that shop and everytime he has the same reply "It has not come yet". I feel disgusted with this short and indifferent response and the inconvenience hardly matters to him.
    Though(and of course) i have bought another modem but i am desperate to get justice.

    Hopefully i'll be heard.

    Default Selling Products without Bill- Eeshwar Marketing

    Hi,

    I did a Cupboard Mirror purchase for 1250/- in Eeshwar Marketing, Tippasandara,Bangalore. I paid through Credit Card Date:29/04/2012, Time:12:19:29,MID:000044497990049,TID:45490108,Bat ch No:000439,Invoice No:000085. On insisting for a bill, the shopkeeper refused to give a one and insulted us.

    Even after insisting so much he hasn't given a proper bill. He gave us a written the product name and amount in a blank paper with his rubber stamp seal after insisting.

    So we would like to lodge a compalint against this shopkeeper, for not providing the bill as per the Government Law and being very rude to us.

    Default complaint against Big Bazaar

    given the Koryo brand tea & coffee maker for repair since 18-4-2012 which is under guarantee. Till date the piece is not repaired. The unit was given to Big Bazaar at Mega Mall, New Link Road, Andheri west Mumbai 400104 vide receipt No 1718 dated 18-4-2012. My Cell No is 9892598823.
