I got a call today and they said am one among the winners. They said there are some offers. They made me pay 18000 with credit card stating that i will be getting the samsung camcorder and house hold articles and some diamonds. Am i cheated in this please help me guys. How to revert this? Are they frauds really... why the bloody hell do they cheat like this

My name is Pankaj Kumar. I have been miss leaded/cheated by India Today Book Club for a total of Rs.32492.00

I have received a call from India Today Book club on last week of month September 2010.
He was talking that I have been selected for an offer and only 10 people are selected for the same.
Offer Details as told by India Book Today Club Guy:

They told me to buy any of the items (They gave some list of items, Handi-cam, LCD, Sony c903 phone, MTV kit etc.) for RS. 14000 and you will get assured either 50,000 cash or diamonds of same prize (Rs. 50,000, Diamond weight they have told was 70 Cents).

When I did the first transaction from my credit card they have told your account is still locked you have to make one more transaction of Rs, 15000 then only you will get this gift. At the end they have fraud me and I am missleaded to do three transaction.
Transaction details are:
1st Transaction: Rs. 15699 order Number: Teleales/0GA/100039187
2nd Transaction: Rs. 14996 order Number: Teleales/0GA/100039122
3rd Transaction: Rs. 1798 order Number: Teleales/0GA/100039196
Total amount I have paid is Rs. 32,493.
They told me sir we will send you all the items (Samsung Omnia Lite Phone, Sony c903 Phone, Diamonds of Rs, 50000(70 cents weight) and round trip ticket for flight) before Diwali.

Names of the selling persons are. They told they are manager and Team leads for the same and assured me for cash of Rs. 50,000 on those transactions.

After waiting for around 50 days I called them on 011-40502424 many times.
Every call costs around Rs. 200 for me. They told me they will working on that and send your items very soon.
Today I have called again for the same and they told me you will not get diamonds and Sony c903 phone because we do not have stock with us and we will return to you Rs, 15,699.

I don't understand what am I supposed to do? I really hope that something positive happens through this forum.
I am seeking your help to get the problem resolved by either delivery of the products and cash of Rs. 50,000 or Diamonds of the same prize or refund of my hard earned money with compensation.

i had purchased 5 Sets of Diamonds from India Today Club. They assured that the certificate will come with the Diamonds sets but i have not recieved the certificates. i havew made so many calls to them they some one said you will get within 3 days but till now yet to be recieved."THESE DIAMOND MAY BE AMERICAN NOT ORIGINALS"

i have placed a order of rebook kit baring no 110027491 but i have not received it and just yesterday i received call from them with another offer and when i told them i have not received my previous order they said book this order and we will deliver you both the things at a time.

Hi.. I read all of ur comments/complaints against ITBC. It's really hurts, when a fraud ant play badly with our money.
Dear All, a very useful suggestion i wud like to give is media. Just show your concerns to print media & electronic media as well. It will be very helpful for you as well as for the other people, who are going to deal with these type of fraud ants.
