I Mrs Shubhra Kanchan, would like to register a complaint against Sigma Manpower Services, which is a Maid Placement Agency, thier address is 166/172, VIshwanath Building, 3rd Floor, Loharchawl, Marine Line, Mubai - 400002, and their phone numbers are 022-22063216 , 022-66318455 and their Managers name is Rajesh Nair : 9819416809

I got their number from Just Dial .com, as I was in search of a maid that could take care of my kid, at my moms place, when I would go to work.

I spoke to them before registiring and they promised me that post registration with them , within a week they would send candidates for maid interviews and I could select whoever I felt fit the requirement.

So, I registered with them by paying Two thousand rupees by means of a check (000016) from my husbands Yes Bank account. The payment was made in my moms name i.e Sadhana Chaturvedi, as the maid would be kept at her place on 13th July 09

A week passed, two weeks passed, and then a month, but no one came. I kept following up, but all in vain. I finally kept a maid on my own, and asked them to refund my Registration amount, but that too, inspite of promising they would refund they havent.

It has been more than 3 months, but they havent refunded me the money back.

I have got the reciept and would thus like your intervention. Please help me get justice, as I believe that its a fraud company which fools people like me and collect money.
