I had booked for an item costing Rs.7598/- and paid by Cr. card on 25/06/2009. My order NO.OGA090055725, booking ID NO.7770030483 and my Mem. No. is ITBC0950797, and promised to deliver the items within 15 days. But almost three months passed but neither the items delivered nor paid money refunded to me inspite of 9-10 Email send to their official address.I am enclosing my correspondence with this group. Please help me out, and take this group to task and ask for heavy compensation for mental agony of distant customer.If possible lodge FIR/Cases of Cheating against INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB.

Already Seventy (70) days passed since booking of my above mentioned items and I had already sent 7-8 mail and telecall but it is clear that INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB HOUSE is a house to cheat people. I am giving you last opportunity to deliver my paid items within ten (10) more days and after that your house will face the consequences. Already I had discussed it with a number of TV Channel and it will be A BIG MASALA item and Print Media and Consumer Court will follow up the case and I have sufficient document to prove what I meant to say.

Hardly it takes 3-4 days for delivery of any consignment from NEW DELHI TO HOWRAH, i.e. my address Flat No.-MIG 3/6, Dreamland Cooperative Hsg. Society Ltd., B/1 Drainage Canal Road, P.O.-Santragachi, Dist.- Howrah, PIN-711104 (W.B.) ,. Moreover Delivery charges Rs.599/- already paid two maonths back.

On 13-09-2010 I got a call from India Today Book Club, the caller name is Mr Sarat. He told me that I got selected for Rs1 lakh diamond Diwali Bonanza Offer. In this offer I can purchase up to 1 lakh of Diamond jewellery from Surat Diamond. I will get 20 number vouchers of Rs5000 each. For that i have to pay Rs 14996 and Rs299 handling charges and they will give me a 22 items (Swatch Watch-2 Nos, MTV Roadies Sunglasses- 2 Nos, Reebok wallet+key chain - 2 Nos, Books of three title – 2 nos each, MTV T-Shirt- 2 Nos, Reebook Track Suit- 2 Nos, Reebok Shorts- 2 Nos, Reebok LITE Speed Shoes - 2 Nos, Reebok VB Thong Slipper- 2 Nos), two holiday voucher free. I have made the payment after a through inquiry to their correspondence. Their correspondence Mr Sarat and his senior clearly told me that I can club those 20 vouchers and can made a single purchased of upto 1 lakh from Surat Diamond.
I have received the material, though some material are not of my size given to them, Now when the time of vouchers is came they are now telling me that I cannot clubbed the vouchers and the person make me another offer of giving me physical diamond for that i have to again pay Rs15000 or so
I think it is a clear case of cheating and misleading the public.
I bought a holiday package worth Rupees 5944/- from India today book club. Regarding which i received the voucher after 3 months. where in the process to claim it was by sending the form within the voucher to Bangalore on the following address PREMIER SALES PROMOTIONS PVT LTD, PO Box 5042, Bangalore 560001, India. With the phone no 080-4055 4850 which never works. But 1 day somebody with the name Nalini picked the phone and answered me that i will recieve 1 promocode and website where i have to select the destination and date. but i didnt recieve the promocode for 1 month after which again call was made continuously and again the person with name Ms. Merry recieved the call she gave me the promocode for accesing the website.but when i used it the website showed an pop-up saying your HOLIDAY VOUCHER HAS ALREADY BEEN USED.I was/am daamn frustated by this i dont know what...But want my money back and also want to see these cheaters behind the BAR's / Jail.
