This is to post the complaint about the inverter battery Excide -Sonic EPX-1800 which i bought in April 2010 with replacement warranty of 18 months. and was purchased from PAL Batteries Gurgaon as the best product from Excide range.

in Feb -2011 it was found the back up was only for 40 Min against the claimed back of - 4-5 hrs with full load ( since 180 MAH battery ) and battery was sent back to the company and Gravity was below 1100 mark.

later on company denied to replace the batter and confirmed the repair has been done for the fault & purposely took back the original Bills and warranty Cards with it's ill intention. trusting the credible work done by the dealer / company, i had accepted the battery since consumer can not keep on testing the product to ensure the product quality, i found again in Jan -2012 the repetition of the same problem now the company is taking the shelter of warranty period being over while the problem was identified with in the warranty period in 2011 and was subject to replacement in 2011 only .

upon contact a very poor response and ill behave from the senior Service officials Mr. Jasdip Gill @09467000468 and Rajesh Khanna@09478200900. Mr. gill kept on giving the big words and kept the battery with them more than 10 days and later upon follow up started taking the shelter of Warranty period got over.

Since the product sold to me was not up the quality and substandard in performance ( may be refurbished product being sold in the market with new prices) and gave me the forge documentation for being the up to the mark this is serious enough to manipulate the facts and hide from the customer just to avoid the replacement and service responsibility.

Upon strong follow up these Excide fellow ( named above) started diverting the issue towards the dealer mishandling the case. This is damn poor stuff from the renowned brand like Excide even worse the Company staff seems to un educated to handle the customer.

All details can be provided upon request. requested all the friends not to use the brand who are not able to understand the consumer and cant take care of them despite investment happening in their brands.
