We purchased a Eureka Forbes UV storage water purifier - AquaSure from a store in Pune on April 4, 2010.
The purifier came with One Year warranty.
Before completing 8 months, the electrical circuit developed a problem and the purified stopped working.
We lodged a complaint about it on December 4, 2010. Complaint Number 406.
We did not get any call / response from Eureka Forbes.
When we checked at the store, we came to know that the complaint has already been forwarded to the company.
After following up on phone, their service engineers showed up, but could not solve the problem.
We were told that since this product is not selling well, the company has stopped manufacturing it. Hence availability of this product as a replacement or it's parts is a BIG problem.
The service in-charge Deepak (Mobile No. 9372069747) advised us to take our faulty piece to the store and get it replaced. He promised that he will talk to the store up front and ensure that it is available for us.
This morning, I went to the store only to realize that they don't have such a piece available and that they did not receive any such call from this irresponsible guy Deepak from Eureka Forbes!
After about a month, there is no solution and I'm an irritated customer feeling helpless.
