Dear Sir,

This is in connection with the product of Phillips company.

1. I had purchased the Phillips system

Model MCD-280/290, Date of purchase 19.01.2008 Cash Memo No-T21/10983

Purchased on 19.01.2008 from Home Solutions Retail (India) Ltd., Plot-N0. A-2, Lower
Ground Floor, Sector 38A, Noida, Phone- 0120-4028100

Price Rs. 7790.00

System started giving problem in the month of Feb-09, just immediately after
warrantee period.

2. When contacted it was advised by the Home Solutionsfrom where it was purchased
that we shall contact the manufacturers directly and phone number was given for
Hi-Tech Services, A-56, 1st Floor, Sector-6, Noida, 201301, Ph-0120-4310460,
6455292. System was taken to the above service center in Noida on 25.03.09. Rs.
469.00 was charged as repair charges and delivered to my house in Noida. But the
system worked for 5 minutes and then same problem was noted.

3. Again a compaint was registered by phone, complaint no. is 154752, syatem was
picked up from the house and returned back after 3 days. However, system played for
2 songs and then plays intermittently.

4. Again complaint was made, it was advised that the complaint number remains the
same and somebody will gain pick up and do the needful.

5. on 8.04.09 a mechanic from the service center named Rajesh (mobile no.
9711901711) visited the house and said that the lense is working after rectification
but its some electronic component will require to be changed. He said that the same
is not readily available and will go back find out and then advise the cost and its
availability.

6. on 10.04.09 he rang over phone that the same will cost Rs. 4400.00 and if you say
then I will come and fit but with no guarantee. May be noted that the cost of the
new set is Rs. 7790.

7. I then rang up to the telephone number obtained from net 011-66001111, who
informed that the complaint number will remain same i.e. 154752. he will discuss
with the Noida service center and come back to me.

It is submitted that a product of such famous company known for its brand prompted
me to buy its product but in the whole process I feel that I have been cheated with
sub standard product and no respite even after repeated chasing, and finally ben
told that for a product which is just an year old to spend further Rs.4400+labour
charges. It is just not acceptable.

I submit that the matter may be taken up and I be given justice by making the sytem
good without any extra cost to me.
