    Post Exide battery service

    Dear Sir,

    I purchase exide invertor battery with APC invertor on 07.10.2009 from M/s.Kalai enterprises,Ambattur.

    We find out water leakages from battery last week, now come out water heavily,
    Kindly take necessary action immediately.

    Default Refund of the cost of exide batteries

    Dear Sir ,

    1. I own two cars, out of which one is a maruti Esteem and second one is Maruti 800. I bought these batteries from same dealer at Secunderabad.The datails of purchase of both batteries are given below:

    (a) Battery for Maruti Esteem (Regn No TN 38 P 9954):-
    (i) Dealer : Reddy Battery Service, Plot No 75, Postal Colony, Trimulgherry, Secunderabad, Phone 65901318
    (ii) Date of Purchase: 23 June 2008
    (iii) Type of battery: EM 35 R
    (iv) Serial No 311322
    (v) Mfg Code 4F8

    (b) Battery for Maruti 800 ( Regn No GJ 6 AB 1930 ):-
    (i) Dealer : Reddy Battery Service, Plot No 75, Postal Colony, Trimulgherry, Secunderabad, Phone 65901318
    (ii) Date of Purchase: 19 July 2008
    (iii) Type of battery: EM 32 R (MF)
    (iv) Serial No 21468
    (v) Mfg Code 2 D 8

    2. Both my cars have been in use as my wife was using one car and I was using the second car. Both these batteries have failed during the 30 th and 32 nd month whereas the company is assuring about 36 months use.

    3. Even by discussing with other people they have their batteries functioning beyond three years in most of the occassions.

    4. For me changing these batteries at short notice and financial discomfort of buying two batteries within short period has to be taken notice of. For me both batteries were 100 % low quality bacause at least one of them if had completed 36 months would have given me the satisfaction of high quality stuff of EXIDE.
    5. I request that EXIDE batteries should explain for the reason of failures of both these batteries and also refund me tha cost of both these batteries.

    Default Exide Inverter Battery- No back-up.

    Sub.: Sir/Madam,
    I have purchased an ‘Exide Invertor Plus’ battery no. 3E0W5613803E0 and warranty card no. 1004178 (for my parents, residing at Dumaria, Distt.-Godda, Jharkhand) on 19th June 2010 from Rocky Electronics, Godda, Jharkhand (scanned copy of bill/warranty card enclosed). From last 6 months, we are not getting proper back-up and made a no. of complain to Dealer-Rocky Electronics, Godda, Jharkhand, but the complain has not been addressed till now, resulting the life of battery goes on deteriorating day by day and at present getting only half an hour back-up on full charging. So, this kind of poor support/service of a branded product as well as avoidance of local dealer in resolving the problem, diminishes the image of exide and loses the faith among customers.
    Therefore, it is requested to kindly replace/repair the Inverter battery at the earliest, please.

    Dear Sir,
    I purchased Exide INVA TUBULAR (IT500) on 29th June 2010 from Ganesh Battery Works, 28, Bharathiyar Road, Karaikal - 609 602, Phone:04368-220387, Mobile:09842350331. Last week I found that the 6th cell is leaking. Hence, I contacted the helpline thrice and they asked me the batch and serial numbers of my battery (batch No. 3SB, Serial No.008276) on 24th and lodged a complaint for which I was given the complaint No. STHO 00004487 and registration No. IT5003 SB008276 and assured me that their representative Mr. R. Prabhakaran will immediately attend the problem. I contacted him and he promised to supervise this matter in a day but nothing has happened so far. When I tried contacting him again, he failed to answer my calls. Once again I contacted the helpline and they gave another supervisor's mobile number (Mr. Rajan, Chennai). When I tried calling him he too failed to answer my calls. This product has warranty for 48 months and I have the warranty card for the same. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful. Thank you.

    Dear Sir,
    I am a dealer of pilot industries ltd and was selling Leader Brand of the company.Now the company closed their service centers. They have not send back the batteries lying their service centers and not given any new address for future warranty claims.

    Can any help us ???????

    I have purchased EXIDE INVA TUBULAR BATTERY .Its just 9[COLOR=#009900 !important] months[/COLOR], my battery backup reduced to only 1hr.I have [COLOR=#009900 !important]complained[/COLOR] to dealer from where i purchased it but, there is no [COLOR=#009900 !important]responce[/COLOR] from them.i have tired to call them to solve my [COLOR=#009900 !important]problem[/COLOR] but they never try to solve my problem, sometimes they disconect my cal, or misbehave.so i have posted my problem here because i think only u people can solve my problem.

    Post Regarding complain of 200 AH Invertor battery

    Sir, I have purchased Exide IN 200 Plus Sr. No. 16898-3KO from your dealer M/s Kanodia , Satna (M.P.) in 21.01.2011 . Sir unfortunately, I lost our warranty card and bill. On date 14.10.11 I have complain for not working of battery to dealer at satna , he replied that you may come at shop with battery for check up. I have arranged for the same at dealer shop, his person checked the battery and found that out of six cells, one cell is faulty. I asked him for replacement of battery, he replied that without warranty card we are unable to do any thing.

    Sir, I will request to you that you may arrange for checking the sell of battery by its sr. no. & confirm for genuineness of customer. (Simply lost of warranty card by customer does not mean to compromise with the product quality, it create negative image of product in public mind.)
    You are requested to please do the needful at an earliest as possible.
