    Angry Worst service of Telebrands

    I purchased an Easy Sew machine from Telebrands on 31st July 2008,(Invoice no. B0059140). The sales person was very friendly and took no time in taking my order and my credit card no. The amount was debited the very same day. I received the machine after 20 days even though i was told that it should get delivered within 10 days.

    Within few days of working, the machine start to malfunction. I again contacted the customer care, i was then told to return the machine and that they will send a replacement for it. The machine reached their premise by 10th November(First Flight Courier Docket No. 021227082) and after repeated followup they registered a complaint on 18th November. Its been around one and half month since i am trying to followup with the concerned persons, however every time the costomer care persons say that the material is not in stock and will take around 10-12 days to get the fresh stock. I don't understand what does 10-12 days mean???

    When i tried to speak to some higher authorities, i was told that they only have a manager and that they donot know who is MD.

    Its not the question of money but i want that everyone should know about the reality of this company and that some action should be taken against them to prevent further harrassmant.

    Hello,
    My dear friend you are not the only one who is facing such problem, but only few raise their voice against them. Your action is really appreciable.
    Due to such irresponsible response of the Telebrand, people are stop buying product through TV channel or through Internet, TV market and Internet Market is growing in INDIA and if the customer faces such problem then it may also cause business lose to other genuine companies. As you mentioned that its being a long time and the company “Telebrand” is not responding or not taking any action against your complaint. This is very serious thing and they should be penalized for that.
    I have gone through your complaint, but you didn’t mention what exactly you want from us, if you want that let other people know what the Telebrands people are doing, then just send us the full and detailed story.
    And kindly spread the information about our website. We are not charging any thing just to help INDIAN consumer and help them to drag such companies to the consumer court.

    Thumbs up procedure to file case in Consumer Court

    Dear Admin,

    Thanks for your encouraging reply, i really would like to drag these people to the consumer court, not only for supplying a faulty material but also for harassment. Pls let me know the procedure to file case against the company in the Consumer court.

    I also want my fellow country men to know about wrong doings adopted by the company. I have already described most of my sufferings in earlier posting.
    Would like to add that every time i used to call the customer care at the toll free number, i was told that either the line is busy or no concerned person available. Probably they must have some kind of caller line identification system installed and therefore gave me same reply everytime.

    Would appreciate your help..........

    Hello,
    Before going to the consumer court you have to send a notice to the parent company and mention the problems you are facing and ask them for the refund. Send it only through the registered post and no need to hire any lawyer for it.
    Note: Kindly send the copy of notice at admin@consumercourt.in, keep the slip in safe of the registered post.

    Thumbs up recieved the replacement product.

    Hi ,

    I managed to receive the replacement product from Telebrand, cannot say whether it is because of the choicest of words and slangs i used against them or may be they received the new stock.
    Nevertheless i have learned from this experience, not to trust on this kind of bogus advertisements. They seem to be cheap and of good quality but are worthless and waste of money in reality.

    I would like to thank admin and this website for the support provided without which i could not have fought with the company.

    Default worst service given by singer sewing machine

    I visited Trade Fair on 16th of November 2009to Pragati Maidan Bhagwan das road New Delhi their on the singer stall i booked i sewing machine No.8280 by depositing Rs 100/- on 26th of November the machine was delivered to me and i paid 6300/- to the person who delivered the machine to me he promised me that the demo of the machine will be given to me within two days. According to given promise when nobody came for the demo i called at the Toll Free No 1800113474 for the demo the person on the line told me that the demo will be given on 6th of January so i waited for 6th January but on 6th of January nobody turn up then again i called up the same no. Then they give me 12th January for the demo when nobody came on 12th January i again called the same no. They again gave me 18th January for the demo and this time Mr. Mayank was there on the line and on 15th 2009 of January i received a call from No.011-22433474 that demo will be given on 18th 2009 of January and they took my Address too. But nobody came on that they, and then i called up on the above given no. They people talked to me very rudely and no demo service was provided now i don’t want that machine .what should i do?
