payment. Your order is in process, the deliveries have been started. You
will receive your UbiSlate 7+ within 15th May to 31th May.

But till date the product is not delivered. Please help me to get the product at the earliest or get back the amount paid by me.

I booked my Ubislate 7+ on 19th Dec. 2012. Sent payment cheque on 17th Feb. 2012 & the same was cleared on 1st March 2012.

False commitments were provided thro' mail by Datawind on delivery - initially by May 14 - 31 & then they kept on postponing delivery. Mails sent to them bounced. Furnished delivery address twice but no response.

They are trying to fool people like politicians in a 'new way' - I last wrote to them advising legal action if Ubislate is not delivered soon. No response to them for the last 10 days.

Cheated customers all should unite, form a team & initiate legal action against this company. Otherwise, it seems they are sure to run away with our hard earned money. Friends, willing people please write to me at maniviji@gmail.com - we shall start planning our next course of action.

Govt. also initially supported but now they are escaping. We should take this issue thro' Media to strengthen our side. God only saves our country.

my name Ganesh maine ubislate+7 ka payment D.D. Se 25-05-12 ko kiya par muje datawind se koi mail nahi aya but payment to clear hua hai saying bank par muje datawind sai ko mail nahi mila mera ubislate+7 boking id PS 97239, hai maine datawind ke sabh4 side ko mail send kiya par abhi tak uska reply nahi aya, pls muje batao mera mob kab tak ayega my e_mail id- ganeshdixit999@gmail.com so say me.

Even I have made the payment for Ubislate 7+ in February. My Booking ID was PMB94A8I haven't received either the Device nor the money-back. Can somebody help me. I tried emailing to everyone concerned with datawith, payment, supportin, etc. Long back I got a response asking me to provide cheque details; which I provided. Still not information from them. What more I should do? Isn't it a ROBBERY?

same thing has happened to me too.
i was being told that if I pay before January end i shall get my device early in march. datawind was unable to fulfil its commitments. after my no. of mails i was told that i shall recieve my device between 16 april to 30 april. but i have not till date received any device. after that i demanded for refund along with interest and courier charges by june first week.
the reply that i got was "YOUR DEVICE HAS BEEN DISPATCHED THROUGH DTDC COURIER SERVICE AND U SHALL SOON RECEIVE THE DEVICE"
They did not mention the date of dispatch very tactfully and their toll free no. os of no use at all.
their phone ends ringing up and no one is ready to answer it
and now, when i mailed them that i am going to consumer court, still they are not ready to reply to my mail, or deliver me the device or refund me the entire amount with compensation.

HEIGHT OF DATAWIND CHEATERS CHEATING CONSUMERS

Hi ,

On February 23rd, 2012 I had received an email from Datawind asking me to send them a cheque of 2,999 for an early delivery, however every time I write to them I am told that the order will reach me in 10-15 days. I am now fed up and either want my money or want to take them to court for cheating.

My order id is PM87E72.

Please let me know what my options are.

to take legal action I will suggest to lodge complaint against them at Ministry of Consumer Affairs.
