I gave my hp pavilion dv2699ea laptop to Digital Technologies, # 5-9-209/1, 1st Floor, Beside little Flower School, Chirag Ali lane, Abids, Hyderabad – 500 001 for changing the motherboard which has some serious problems to work properly, on July 02, 2011.
Mr. Shakel and Mr. Hussain, the persons who conducts the repair shop undertook the work of changing the motherboard and after inspection the cost of motherboard fixed at Rs.7200/-(Seven Thousand two Hundred only) including all charges with one month warranty period. I paid to them Rs.1000/- as advance on the same day and when I got back my laptop on July 09, 2011 I paid the balance amount of Rs.6200/-.But the laptop worked only for a week and I gave it back to the same people on July 16, 2011, as it is in its warranty period as they promised. The laptop has been given back to me on July 20, 2011 by saying the warranty of the motherboard is fulfilled and I would not get it again even if it was in the warranty period. But the laptop again failed to work within two days.
Anyway, I purchased a new motherboard through online on August 03, 2011 for my laptop. When I opened the laptop to fix new motherboard, I found that the motherboard has not been changed by them as per the deal; instead they repeatedly did some adjustments with the old and existing motherboard and were giving back to me in temporary working condition. I could even notice the identification number LA3772 which has been marked on the motherboard by Silicon Technologies, CTC, Secunderabad on March 31, 2011 as their service order ID.
The cheating of Mr. Shakel and Mr. Hussain has been exposed and when I contacted them they told they are not ready to give me back the money they received from me for the new motherboard which has not been fitted and they challenged me to go and file petition to the police against them.
