Hi,

I bought a 32 GB Transcend Pen Drive with 2 years warranty on ebay on 30 December 2008. Suddenly it stopped working last month. The seller was from Mumbai. I sent an email to him and sent the Pen drive by courier along with original copy of ebay invoice. I received confirmation from seller that he has received the item and he will send the replaced item soon. After 2 weeks when I did not get any update I had again sent an email to seller. This time seller said that the chip of pen drive is burnt some how so it is very difficult to get it replaced. I asked him how come I am responsible of this because its not a physical damage and how would I know that some internal chip problem is not covered in warranty because there is nothing written on the casing of pen drive. Now, I am not getting any reply from the seller.

Seller has never mentioned in any terms and conditions that if any chip is burnt it will not be replaced. This is a expensive pen drive.

Kindly let me know how should I proceed.
