Hi,
I had taken my Ipod touch for a checkup as intermittently the screen was getting locked, upon visiting the Apple Store located at Forum, Bangalore, I was told my software would be re-installed at no cost. After I handed over my IpoD I was told all the data would be lost, I agreed and the service person connected my Ipod to the computer and did something after a while I was told they do not have the required firmware and asked me to take it home and connect it to iTunes which is the software that comes with the Ipod and I was told if that does not work to get it back. I took the Ipod which by now was in a bad shape and connected it to my iTunes. The software told me the backup would not be possible, So I took the Ipod back tot he store. In the store I was treated to more lies I was told that the Ipod was working fine when then gave it to me after talking to certain other people I was told they will look the problem after a while I was told to Pay 4500 for the replacement of the entire firmware, I do not know how they expect me to play for something I did not do. Please help!
