I went to seagate service center in delhi.(accel frontline service limited, Nehru place)

To my surprise, they were running a parallel business by asking customers to spend 20 rs. in the cybercafe in the same building for getting registration number from the seagate website.

Once you are registered, only then they will entertain any customer problems.

how do i know that my samsung hdd is samsung india or not

my samsung mobile b5310 bettry bad pickup,display on off outomatic volume key not working,camera failed,and outomatic on off anytime`i brought 26.july.2010...

I purchased "Assembled Computer" on 13th July 2007 from computer Shop in Uttam Nagar with Samsung 160GB Hard Disk.Now hard disk is not working well and Hard disk is in warranty(no label remove,no physical damage etc.).
When i went to samsung service center Budharaja,Sambalpur,ODISHA they told me that "5 years limited warranty for drives
manufactured from Aug'04 to April'07 and from
Aug'08 onwards. (Warranty applicable from the
month of manufacture)
For HDDs manufactured in the period May'07 to Jul'08, customer need to contact respective
distributor/retailer for warranty support.
Is this procedure real or fraud???Is it the real approachof samsung to put the customers in trouble???

dz ez sreekanth i use 2 stay in hyderabad.,. last year ie 15/01/2009 i was taken samsung 500gb hdd for the use of finance applications .,.,.,.so yesterday onwords when my pc is on it es getting A DISK READ ERROR.I dnt know wat 2 do? i dnt hav warrenty bills.and i hav on sight warrenty so please solve my problm sir/madam.
