Respected sir / ma'am,
this is regard to the replacement of my 250 gb laptop hard disk with the model number wd2500bevt-00zct0 hard disk.when i had called the customer support number i was given a RMA number -81722145 on 2nd of February 2010 and instructions to pack my defective hard disk and it will be picked from my house by the courier.the hard disk was picked up and within a week i got a new hard disk from western digital, but it was not a 250 gb hard disk ,neither it was a laptop hard disk, infact it was a 160gb pc hard disk with the model number wd1600aajs-00l7a0.So i again called up wester digital support center and they apologized and again assigned me a new RMA number - 81738613 and told me that this time i will get my 250 gb laptop hard disk. i had no choice but to wait. The couirer person came and took the hard disk and again after 1 week i got a new hard disk back. And surprisingly even this time it was a 160 Gb pc hard disk instead of the 250 gb laptop hard disk. So naturally i again called them and they again gave me new RMA number -81758452 and again the courier guy came and took the hard disk.Yesterday I.e on 2nd March 2010 when i had called the support center to inquire about my RMA status they after verification said that they have received my hard disk and will dispatch it by 4th of march 2010. i again called today i.e 3rd of march 2010 to again inquire my RMA status, they aftr verification said that they have not received my hard disk , where as they told me yesterday that they have received it. And according to the courier website of AI GATI, the hard disk was delivered on 24th February 2010( Docket number 594129774).The support center is showing no co operation in getting my hard disk back and is always coming up with excuses.They are not even sure if i wil get back my 250 gb hard disk back even though it is well with in the warranty.I plead that necessary action be taken against them.
