my laptop's dvd writer had some trouble, so i contacted service centre at chd sec-22, to which they took almost more than 2 months to order a new dvd writer from Mumbai( that is what they had said). Got it replaced. But now when i tried to write DVD it denied. at 1st i thought it would be due to some fault in the software, i uninstalled and again tried, changed disk burning softwares but still in vain, i even formatted my OS, still it didn't run.
But today i happen to search the properties of my DVD drive on internet and to my surprise i found that they had simply CHEATED me by replacing my drive with a DVD combo i.e. a DVD reader and a CD reader/writer. No DVD writer.
Now u only tell how should i deal with them????

Hi, hello der i'm having HCL laptop bought 3 yrs back and now my dvd writter is not working/reading anything from past six months can some one tell me wt exactly the problem is........
