I had purchased a PSP 3004 on Aug 2010 which developed technical
problem in Nov2011. I was refused of any service by one of the Sony
Service Centre in Gurgaon, India. Post which I had complained in the
Sony site & got response from Coustomer Care advicing me to get
in touch with the Service Centre & submit the unit. I was told that
the unit will be replaced with a new one if I paid 30% of the Current
Value of the product. I submitted the unit & accessories along with a
cheque of Rs.2397/- on the 25th of Dec 2011 & was assured of a
replacement within 2 weeks..
On 24th Jan 2012 I recieved a phone call from Sony Customer Care & was
told that I would be receiving a replacement of E-1004 model which is
a lower model than my 3004 & will have to pay an additional Rs.300/-
for the same..
Post that I am not getting any response from the Customer Care though
putting telephonic & online complaints.
Seek early redressal..
