    Default Horrible Service from Vodafone - Escalation

    Dear Concern,

    I had a balance of Rs 366.88 on the morning of 27/Jul/2011 but by 10 pm of the same day my balance was reduced to -6.90.

    I have no idea on how so much of balance got reduced in just one day.


    When I went to the Vodafone Care office, I was able to check my mobile phone log details in which it was clearly showing that on 1st Week of June I have got the Rs 95 plan for internet service on my android phone. This plan gives me 2GB of data pack. After a month of which, Rs 23 has been charged every week for 500 MB of data plan.

    And accordingly Rs 23 had been charged for 500 MB of data on the 26/Jul/2011 at 11.15. Now considering my balance of Rs 366.88 had been deducted incorrectly I raised a Service request, please refer Service Registration Number 1066457260 in you system.



    On 29/Jul/2011 I received an SMS from Vodafone saying
    "Hello! Your service registration number is 1066457260. We shall
    respond to your query by Tuesday 02-Aug-11 06:00 pm"




    In addition to the above request, I have been spending money in calling Vodafone customer care several times and explaining my issue again and again to different customer care executives.



    At last I called Vodafone customer care (111) on 02-Aug to know status on my issue my self as there was no response from Vodafone and every time I had to explain the issue from beginning, but at last I got an answer saying “we will credit the amount by 8 pm on 2/08/2011" which has not been provided yet.



    When I called the Vodafone Care on 03/Aug/2011, the customer care executive informs me that my Service Registration Number 1066457260 has been closed and the reason had been specified as “Amount deducted due to internet Use”. As informed above Rs 23 had been deducted on 26/Jul/2011 for 500 MB data, so according to your system I used 500 MB of data on 27/Jul/2011 and then additional Usage took place due to which Rs 366.88 balance has been deducted, which is impossible.



    Please check your system data because this is not possible and Vodafone should stop giving the same reason “Internet Usage” for every glitch that happens in your system. When I tried to explain the issue to the customer care executive again (03/Aug/2011), he keeps me on hold for 5 mins and then tells me he’s transferring my call to a senior manager, after which he keeps me on hold for another 10 mins and then cuts the call, a call for which I am again being charged for. This is ridiculous.



    Seems it is not issue specific to me only, it become a habit to these telecom service companies to increase their revenues through unethical business practices by misusing our hard earned money.


    I am escalating this matter to 'corpcare.mah@vodafone.com', as this issue is not being handled properly and Vodafone Customer Care is not providing the Support which they so fondly boast about. Its high time Vodafone delivers.

    Dear Sir,

    I am using Vodafone services from last 4-5 Years but now a days services and commitment are not good.

    This is to bring to your kind attention that i received a call from Vodafone side regarding No. porting Mr. Lakshya was executive he asked me why you want to port your no.
    I told him because of service and plan then he offer me a new plan 299 (199+100) which have free calls (400std+600Local) & some national sms and after free calls call charges would be 30p for local and 50p for std.

    Request no. is 200059719.

    But till the date above plan is not activated on my no. 9811206701

    This is request to you please activate the same plan on my no. as 1 time i also visited Vodafone store they told me "yes" it was committed to you, and we will give you but till the date there is no action.

    When I tried to explain the issue to the customer care executive 2 times one is Mr. Sahil and Second is Mr. Karneet again (05/oct/2011), he keeps me on hold for 5 mins and then tells me he’s transferring my call to a senior manager, after which he keeps me on hold for another 40 mins and then cuts the call, a call for which I am again being charged for. This is ridiculous.


    Seems it is not issue specific to me only, it become a habit to these telecom service companies to increase their revenues through unethical business practices by misusing our hard earned money.


    I am escalating this matter to 'corpcare.mah@vodafone.com', as this issue is not being handled properly and Vodafone Customer Care is not providing the Support which they so fondly boast about. Its high time Vodafone delivers.

    Angry Complaint Regarding Activation of Number

    I Purchased two connection of vodafone in August at that i was using prepaid connections,
    I am working with Yatra Online Pvt Ltd as Travel sales consultant, your executive came to our
    office and told me that i can change my prepaid connection to postpaid with a good plan
    i gave him all the documents and he assured me that i will not face any problem like
    outgoing barring and all, but no on both the numbers outgoings are barred when i called your
    call center they told me within 48 hours one executive will come to my place for physical veri-
    fication, now i am taking follow up for all the things is it my duty to take care for all the services
    These numbers are circulated everywhere in my office as well, i am staying alone here I dont have
    any no to contact my family they are worried, I cannot make any call to anyone, I am requesting all
    of your executives to come and do verification what ever they want to do but they dont even have a time
    to assist the customers i am using vodafone connection from last 7-8 Years, But really you people
    should hire some mature perso in your call center if we make complaint regarding our numbers and if in
    any we being rude them they always barred all the services on the number that means they can take revenge
    with customers if we will rude to them bloody hell i will launch a complaint against vodafone in CNBC awaaz
    if you people will not help me out to activate my number, its been more than 72 hours if sunday is non-working day
    then why the hell you people are saying that we are working 24/7, You know i am totally harrased now its more than
    enough now.

    Hope being a mature person you will help me please try to understand its very important for me to activate these numbers.

    Default Pathetic services from Vodafone --- No respect to customer

    First of all, I want to tell Vodafone that learn to respect a customer after he buys a new connection . Your services are pathetic and once a customer buys a new connection, you dont have any concern except timely payment of bill.

    I took 2 new corporate connections. They got active on Monday (11th feb, 2013) but the services got stopped on Wednesday (13th feb 2013). I received a message from Vodafone stating that my services are stopped due to non-payment of bill. My bill amount is 100 rs and credit limit is rs 500. So, it didnt make sense how my services could be barred.
    I asked relationship manager and he told me that my connection might have been made inactive due to verification issues. Instead of chasing this by himself and helping customer, relationship manager asked me to write mails to some people. I wrote mails asking for justification on Wednesday itself. They told me that somebody came to my house, found it locked and made verificatin negative. But my brother was at home the whole day and nobody came for verification. No one even called me to inform that they are coming for verification. They should have called me on my alternative contact number which I gave while talking connection. This means no one came to my house. Ok, after that i called vodafone care, wrote mails, talked to relationship manager and no one gave satisfactory reply. All this happened on Wednesday itself(13th feb 2013). I got fed up and on 14th feb 2013, I replied to vodafone customer care and other concenerned persons that I will choose another vendor if no one is going to look into this. On this, I got a reply from Vodafone that my services will be made active in 48 hours. Now it is 16th Feb, 2013, more than 48 hours have passed, I called customer care many times, still no satisfactory response. They told me someone will come today for verification. In afternoon, I called relationship manager but he was talking in a totally relax mood. He used words like "Haan, dikkat tou ho jati hai" (Ya, I understand, you are facing problem). Then what??? He told me that it will be done on Monday since today no one might come for verification. I again called customer care and they informed me that my greivance may take another 72 hours.

    So, vodafone ...please dont treat customers like this. Customer is not an idiot who will stick to what he is being told. I have to use my roaming number due to services disconnection which has costed me lot of money. I am facing problems too and on top of it, I am the one chasing my own issue instead of someone from vodafone attending to me. This is really pathetic. I cant expect something of this sort from Vodafone. I haven't taken number from roadside. I work in a MNC, took corporate connection, submitted documents including passport copy. If this is how you treat a customer, then I will be extremely happy to discontinue services with vodafone.

    I applied for a corporate connection and during the time of request I just submitted my proof of id and photos. When I received my first bill I found out that my Father's name was entered instead of mine. I then sent an email to the corporate team to correct the name and they asked me to visit the Vodafone store. So i visited the vodafone store and they wanted me to get in touch with the corporate team. Moreover the customer service executive at the store was rude and kept on saying the same thing, he was not even ready to listen to me. I tried to explain him that I was re-directed by the corporate team to contact the store but it was in vain. Then I lost hope on the service and left the matter.

    After some days unfortunately I lost my SIM card and when I contacted the corporate team, they asked me to contact the Vodafone store and I did. As usual they were not ready to help me because my name is eneterd incorrectly. Then they said that they will send me the replacement sim card to my office address which I haven't received yet.

    I called the customer care on 98110 98110, the person who attended my call was not even able to speak english. All he said was under process...Is this the way you treat your customers. I am wondering if this is how you treat your corporate customers then what about the normal customers, do you even consider them as users of your service.

    Above all the Nodal officer's number that is in the website is wrong. I sent an email to nodal.har@vodafone.com and all i received is the automated response.

    Angry Vodafone National Roaming - Crap

    Hello
    My name is Akshay and i recently ported 3 numbers from Idea to Vodafone in Maharashtra Circle. I was seeking a bettter service. I hold a 4th Vodafone Corporate Blackberry number which works fine. Primary number - 9850666637
    Complaint number - 1291219898 (there are many complaints numbers i have)

    So i shifted my personal numbers to Vodafone and a mistake of my life.

    now its 7 days after activation, and i am in Chennai and i cant use the bulshit "vodafone network". In manualy selection i can see all the networks except Vodafone.
    After calling cus care for 6 days, mailing the apelate etc still the issue exists. I AM NOT ABLE TO USE VODAFONE netwrok in national roaming.
    The customer care people talk nonsense like Sir maybe there is not network etc...
    I can guess that there is some simple setting to be activated on Vodafone side, but the people simply fail to understand what i am saying.

    end result as of today, i ported my 3 numbers from Idea to Vodafone bfore flying to chennai. And in Chennai i am still using Idea but never getting Vodafone. )

    Regret to port to Vodafone

    One of the worst service i have ever seen form any of the service providers so far.

    Elaborating the issue here. On 16th of march i have visited your Vodafone store and submitted application (018934) form Post paid to pre paid conversion. On 16th it self i have cleared all the balance amount in advance before the bill generated. Now that its been more than 10 days i am either able to user my post paid connection or prepaid connection.

    The response of the Vodafone store in Musaram bhag (Dilsukh Nagar) Hyderabad branch in special is so worst, the response they have given that they have forgotten to submit the application which i filled on 16 th March 2013. Means until we visit the store in personal more than once you guys will not start working.

    Today i have visited the store for the 3rd time and came to know that they have not started the process still, even after escalating in my 2nd visit.

    Is this the way you treat the customers and almost from past 6 years i am Vodafone customer and the way you guys responded in these 6 years was worst and totally not satisfied.

    Even today i am not interested to continue with Vodafone but my number dependency was making me to continue.

    The incidents which happen to me in last 6 years

    1. Hell lot of times submitted application forms to convert connection from my name to my dad name since i am out of Hyderabad and every time its becoming difficult to approach for any change. So far no one has processed. Finally my dad thought it is waste of time and continued using as i said number dependency was there.

    2. From past 10 days after visiting the store for 3 times only today (26-03-2013) application for Post Paid to Pre Paid was started.

    3. And Store people and Customer care executives promised me that it would be done by 2 pm which was not later 7 pm again failed and finally at 10 pm which was also failed.

    Still i am unable to use my mobile either in post paid or pre paid.

    This is my final warning to Vodafone to rectify things and activate the connection immediately else i may need to approach the consumer forum.

    Default Bad Customer service AGENT HUNG UP ON THE CUSTOMER!!!!

    I had called in yesterday to the 111 toll free no.. for my gprs services i wanted to have it working on iball modem and used it on my computer
    the representative who was answering the call was named Trupti,,
    She showed lot of resistance in support as well as not willing to help She was shouting and yelling at me over the phone while guiding me through the trouble shooting process.
    She was not understanding, what i was saying and tried to overpower me over the call by which showed lack of Probing questions where in i think she did not understand the problem she was trouble shooting and was guiding me in a all different direction

    more worst happened when i requested for supervisor escalation which was been denied without a reason and was been put on hold with out been asked and the call was been disconnected.
    This is not acceptable at all.. being a customer for almost 5 years with Vodafone a reputed company this is worst and bad thing to imagine and almost unprofessional Beauvoir

    i need a reason why was that representative behaved like that to me over the phone. i would request you to go through the recording of the call for that service agent in the time duration of date 5th may 11.50 to 12.03 noon
