    Default Sun direct Online Cheating very poor service very bad

    Sir,
    We have taken the sun direct dth connection in the month of September and for individual channel purchasing we have did two times for same month by mistake and immediately did the canceled the extra one, and before to do so we have tried so many times to call customer care -
    (Karnataka:080-39407575 very poor service) but always the line is busy it won't connect at all. But now they are telling that its our mistake and not able to do the refund, and i have asked for which rules or on which law you are stating this? but for this question they not replied. This communication done by e-mail and am having this communication in my e-mail inbox.

    Please help me what to do for this?

    To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.

    Default Sundirect Customer service really sucks

    Customer service really suckkkkss.. I have an issue and I have been calling them every day since last 2 week, but no use. The package is cheap..but at a cost.

    People!! If you are thinking of getting a new connection, never go for sundirect.
    It will be cheap. But if you face any issue, its gone case.. all you can do is get one more connection..

    Angry poor customer care service - Sun direct

    Sir /madam
    I have been customer for Sundirect DTH service for last 1 year and I have been receiving very poor service.

    There was information provided by SUndirect (in Info channel - 001)that, due to change in satellite connection, there will be disturbance in channel and engineer will visit to cuistomer place to replace the instrument.

    But as of now no body visited and whenever we call (it is difficult to get the line through - always engaged), there is very poor response and the way the call centre people speak is terrible. they don't respect their customers and doesn't know how to talk..We have been told to call local distributor in our area, but unfortunately nobody is intrested in solving the issue.

    This following letter highlight the plight faced by consumer taken a SD connection..
    ================

    To Nodal Head/ Sun Direct TV(P) Ltd


    I want to highlight the issue in service provided by SunDirect for last few months to the customers:

    1) Full package Channels not received since August 2010 due to satellite Failure
    2) Realignment of dish anteena not done despite continuous requests & 2 visits by contract workers (responsible for realignment)
    3) No channels are viewable since last Sept 10 post new satellite installation


    Requests:
    Correct all the services ASAP as well as increase subscription period for the period service was not received(approx. 3 months)
    Or
    Please refund money for the subscription time left (Aug 2010 –April 2011) & the installation charges


    I do not have any other option to lodge a complaint in consumer forum(on searching of internet I find it is really an easy thing to do) if either of the requests are not fulfilled

    Last 12 days back i have complined regarting the sun direct (dish direction changing problem) till today nobody responding the phone,mail etc.Their service is very very poor.I want to move consumer court pl advice me.

    I had obtained SUNDIRECT on 16.09.2010 in the name of V BHUVANESWARI residing at No: 110, 3rd Cross
    I Main Road, Prakash Nagar, Bangalore - 560 021 with ID no: 411332869506 and I had made compliant
    no: 11076855560 regarding on reception of channals on 11.11.2010 and had also made repated reminders
    everyday so far I had not received any response.

    Some times in response the representative had ask for 72 hours time to rectify the problem. The reason given
    was that there are no technical person in their end to attend the problem. After the end of the 72nd hour the
    problem remain the same I dont know how many 72 hours they will take to rectify the problem. I think the
    people at Karnataka are interest in only selling the DTH and not interested in retaining the customers.

    Without any usage I am paying the money for the services of SUN DTH.

    Please rectify the problem as early as possible

    Hi guyz,
    Even i m one of the victim. I ve raised numerous calls and there is absolutely no response both from Sun Direct as well as the Dealer. I ve went in person to Ponmani agency(who deal with the re alignment issue in our area) and still there is no traction.

    I m completely disappointed with Customer service of Sun direct. I think this is a awakening before the General Elections 2011 in TN. All these issues would be resolved if we bring a full stop to the ruling monopoly Family run government here.

    Default Sun DTH Very poor customer service

    Recent move to new satellite has resulted in the channels going off one by one. I have made 5 complaints and waiting for three months for some one to fix it. But there is none. The customer always has one statement we will be there in 72 hours.. The nodel officer phone just rings.. that seems to be some dummy address & names to fool around. The distributor is never bother.. Its high time that we all get together and chuck Sun DTH out .. they have made so much money that they have started ignoring the customers... We have to go to Consumer court or make mass move to better service provider..

    Hello fellows, After many instances of very bad service, I decided to throw away my sundirect dish. I smashed the reciever, and threw away the dish.. I feel so relieved after doing this...

    Truely hope those bustards learn a lesson... Fking asholes....!1

    Add me also into this list. Having been a customer of Sun Direct for the past 10 months (the dealer at bangalore initially discouraged me to go for Sun Direct, but I was bent on the service provider as I felt that Sun Group will not let down the service just like that), I am feeling the brunt of the service now.

    It's almost 1 month since I am trying to get the technician to visit and help us to enjoy the service without disruption. More than 4-5 complaints. The bangalore customer care (rather karnataka customer care) does not show any interest in keeping the existing customer base. Neither it is interested in taking more new customers.

    I tried calling the chennai customer care at 044-39407575, but to my surprise I felt as if I had called a railway station where you get some automated response. The representative kept on saying 'sorry for the inconvenience' and nothing else.

    No one shares any contact number of superiors and their head office never picks up the call.

    Regret for my deicision to have gone in for Sun Direct. Wish they at least keep 10% of their existing customer base by next year.
