    I am a buyer on ebay i have purchased a hp laptop on ebay on 9th june 2011...and attached a gift code (transcend640gb hdd portable) but its 12 sep 2011 i have not received any gift yet...i did 20 or 30 times chat with ebay they said shipping details will be given at the earliest or your case has been escalated.....I asked what is the meaning of earliest its 93 days days now ...why ebay list offers get assured gift on your purchase.... even today i also did a chat with ebay agent she replied your case has been escalated....not to worry...when i asked please give my any complaint no she replied the same u r case has been escalated...they befooled me.....EVEN ABOUT 30 TIMES I TOLD THEM TO SHIP MY GIFT THROUGH DTDC AS BLUEDART IS NOt AVAILABLE in my city....IN THEIR TERMS AND POLICIES IT IS WRITTEN THAT GIFT WILL BE DISPATCHED THROUGH BLUEDART OR DTDC...ebay showed only schemes and offfers but not giving them to buyers.....ebay cheated with me..please contact me

    i have purchased an antique rare 5 rs note and the seller sent me a cardboard via courier. ebay has taken almost 2 months for refund than also they are not in a mood of refund...completely fraud is going on and. company is going to take any action against this. seller always lie that i have sent that but ebay believes only on proof of delivery that the courier has been sent.

    Ok here's the latest fraud on ebay.. and this one is BY ebay. It is known as seller feedback manipulation.

    If you leave a negative feedback for a seller, however justified, it will be removed. How? Without informing you they send your feedback for evaluation by a "committee". Ostensibly the committee comprises both buyers and sellers but you are never told the composition of the committee or the number of members in it. And then you receive an email from ebay saying your feedback has been removed because the commitee decided so. I don't know how this scam started but the sellers are aware of it and so they continue with their fraud without fear. I have burnt my fingers several times and have decided to stay away from ebay altogether. There have been instances when a product was advertized as made by a famous Japanese brand and I received a cheap locally made item instead that did not last a few hours. Apparently selling of fake goods is rampant on ebay.

    Default Fradulent Bidding at ebay.in

    On 24th Oct 2011 around 9:51 pm I had placed a bid for item number 280760683550. My bid was for Rupees 23,000/- and at that time I was the first bidder for this item. I had not opted for automatic bidding.

    However, on 25th Oct 2011 (9:18 pm) when I saw the listing, I see that there are total of 5 bids and my bid amount has been increased to Rs. 26,060 and that too without my permission.

    How is this possible. I do not know who has placed these bids and how as I have only authorized for Rs.23000.

    I think some sort of fraud is going either at eBay. It has to be an insider's job.

    Please suggest what should I do.

    My account was suspended few years back. I have sent ebay lots of email for Reinstated, but didn’t receive any positive reply from your end. I do lot of transactions online and really need ebay account to carry out day-to-day activities. I don’t know why my account was suspended. I had never been involved in illegal activities, as I am very genuine person.
    I just wanted to pass on this message to ebay, that I would file RTI and also highlight this message with media and court, if they dont reply me.
    Such kind of services would only result in neagtive publicity and loss of business for u..

    its always better to buy products from your local market as these companies are always a fraud ones, i had purchased a nokia n series phone and was told there will be no processing fees from their side for EMI, i had also confirmed ICICI credit card bank and was informed that there will be a no processing fees for EMI conversion , but when i got the statement there were processing fees charged for rs 1700/, when contacted at ebay they said they have not charged and it is the bank who is charging, when i approached the bank they informed that it is the merchant who has charged them. bank says merchant has charged and merchant says bank have charged, i got so fed up with both of them, it looked as if i am being made a fool,i had to pay the amount-- then i decided that i will never buy products online as you get cheated very easily and not sure if you recieve the product or not, Friends always remember that these online shopping is very risky in india, is is only possible in US, UK, JAPAN, EUROPE and other foregin contries because there is law and order and criminals and cheaters are punished but here it is totally different as comman man suffers and these people enjoy with your money, just take care and always avoid these shopping as there is high risk.

    i feel really sorry to say that i cannot send the item as listed. Reason is that, when i contacted blue dart for shipping price they charge around 2k for sending mobile from trivandrum to delhi, which is too high for me to afford. Most of the other shipping company do not ship electronics item from individuals, and i have no other options left. i referred to ebay shipping fare policy and it was only 200 that is not in case of courier company. i am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused by me. Your payment will be refunded from paisa pay automatically in 5 days time. Again i am really sorry.

    Thumbs down Beware of ebay

    I placed an order to purchase Panasonic cordless phone on ebay on 21 November 2011. the paisa pay ID was 30248277524 . It was delivered to me on 26 November. but to my surprise what I received was a thoroughly quondam phone which was not working at all . The same day I fill up claim form but ebay did not pay heed to my claim. since than I am repeatedly trying to contact ebay either by call center or through email . but on email they simply don't reply and on call center every time they make a promise that my issue wiould resolve in 48 hour but nothing has happened so far.

    The same thing happen to me as well .. the seller and ebay both cheated me in the same way .. i have no idea what to do .. i want to educate each one of the individual in our country to beaware of ebay .. then only they ll stop cheating us and know the customer value ..

    Vendor had cheated me , when I had not received the product I requested for refund , he called me told you cancel your refund as I had already send the product , same thing had earlier also with some other vendor , that time I had received the product but this time he send me the wrong shipping details , immediately I again raised the claim and the claim no is 98179 which is still open , but your customer care conformed claim is closed and the vendor had switched of his number .

    claim no is 1-3847459272 , every time i get Assurance from your customer care that I will get a call and the amount will be refunded but till today I had not received any thing and the vendor is a cheater and you are sill allowing him to cheat other customer .vendor mobile no. is switched off from last 15 days .

    Ebay Guarantee : If not satisfied with your purchase on eBay, we will replace or refund your entire amount (including shipping) within 20 days. But in my case no product and no refund . As today your customer care executive Mr. shyam conformed you will not get the refund . I had paid Rs.1600/- for the product I had not received , if your vendor has good intension then why his mobile is switch off . what security / verification you do for your vendor . still this vendor is selling his product on ebay .

    hope you will take necessary step to refund my hard earned money .

    Exclamation Ebay electronic technology Co., ltd Scam and fraud

    Hi I had ordered 1000 pcs of sd micro memory cards from ebay electronic technology co,. Ltd Shenzhen China. is Ebay Electronic Technology CO., Ltd. I was asked to transfer the money that is 1175 US dollars to their bank and i have the proof of money transferred. Doris zeng was the contact person, after 2 days she agreed that the money has been credit to their account and the goods will be dispatched in 2 to 3 working days. After that there was no reponse for any of my call or email and around after a month I got my goods but it was all dummy. So please don't trade with any chinese company without escrow payment and having having knowledge about any product you want to buy. Any one please guide me to get my money.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    As the vendor has send wrong item, instead of sending, actual product, that is Wagon r car door sill/ step plate, and the deal with the vendor was to replace the wrong send item, reply given through mail id to me by the vendor. Telephonic conversation made by vendor, the vendor accepted the mistake and referred us to send back the wrong product on the given address mentioned in the mail, with the guideline set by the vendor, it was that, as soon as, he/she received the same, will replace and will send actual product to me on my given address. I have already send back the wrong send item, that is one pair of front, car door sill / plate for indigo and rear, car door sill / plate for indica by DTDC courier on date-04th/september/2012 and my consignment is -v10123454 ,received by vendor (miss heena) on 06.09.2012, but till now, I haven't yet received my actual replaced product, and if i want to make contact with vendor, with several attempt , the vendor replies and speaks that, he has already refund the difference of my courier charge of returning back the wrong item and placed item money, back to ebay, but ebay is not accepting the fact.
    So, sir this is a total case of fraud and cheating, till now, no action is made by none, already the case has reported to AKOSHA team, some how they have managed to help but they didn't succeed, due to there rough kind of nature and business de-link, lack of co- operation made by EBAY .
    Hope you will take necessary step to refund my hard earned money or the actual product which is mentioned above.

    This classic case of malpractices including misleading,misrepresentation, distortion and manipulating of facts by eBay and encouraging false promise through its associates dealer. And subsequently manipulating the facts (negative feedback about its services). It has cheated me with the upfront paid money Rs 25398/- paid on 04.08.2012,and without delivering the product and services as claimed in its portal. Unfortunately, going by these misleading claims including protecting the consumer interest, I was enticed by the e Bay to put on-line orders. The sequence of events developments are as follows:-


    04.08.2012: Based on their misleading claims, placed on line order for 32” LED TV for Rs 25398/- (includes transportation charges upfront) on 04.08.2012, that was suppose to be delivered in 3 days on the occasion of my daughter birthday on 09.08.12. I was assigned e Bay ID 31784611191 for this transaction.
    09.08.2012 : Against all its claims, dealer failed to deliver the product in the stipulated time limit, the day I was expecting this product to be delivered as a birthday surprise gift to my daughter.
    13.08.2012: Against these false and misleading claims, registered the protest on e Bay portal and applied for refund.
    14.08.2012: Thereafter, dealer start harassing me to remove this negative feedback. On my refusal, he, in connivance with e Bay, manages to remove this feedback ( mean to alert other innocent users). This feedback is usually critical in decision making to buy on line product(and I too checked it prior to putting the on line order).
    14 to 17 .08.2012: Starting getting flood gates of harassing calls from e Bay Call centers to accept the product, unconditionally, else they shall forfeit the upfront paid money Rs25398/-. Which they did finally, as I decided not to accept these unethical practices.
    Immediately and thereafter,till date, have written number of repeated request , to eBay on this sensitive issue. But alas! they even did not bothered to reply it. Unfortunate the only interface is so called customer care(read harassing )center , without any accountability. And my latest e Bay complaint docket number 4377256892, dated 24.08.2012, in this regard also goes in vain. e Bay, even refuse to give address of its associates dealer to lodge police complaint against this cheating. The dealer operates under eBay user id : globalfaredeal2012, named Rajesh Gupta, listed mobile: 9899278914, and no address listed.
    Sir ! I have already lost my upfront paid money as well peace of minds. Requesting you to help me in bringing such fraudulent people to the justice. As a poor harassment consumer, I also want refund of upfront paid money with suitable compensation for this mental agony and harassment. Please guide me how to proceed on this and where to file the case in consumer court at Mumbai ( I stay at Deonar/Anushskti Nagar area of Mumbai)

    Question

    I bought a Leather Case Cover For Apple iPhone on eBay. The transition was done on 13'th July 2012. I was unhappy with the product and got a replacement. The second product was faulty too and i sent it back to the seller.
    It costed me Rs 310 to ship the products back. My PaisaPay ID happens to be 31637219859. eBay told me that this amount will be refunded to me within 45 days. It's been way past that and i sill haven't herd any thing from them. Moreover they would just disconnect my call whenever i happen to talk to the customer care.
    I trying time and again, i was finally told that i would get the refund by 18'th Sept 2012. I haven't even received a mail from them.
    I would like to request you to look into the matter and help me out.
