I had opted for Hindustan Times English Newspaper Annual Scheme @Rs. 149 offer when their Executive had visited me at my home and thereafter their executive visits me at home to collect the cheque. However, though I have paid the money in Nov'11 and the cheque amount has been debited from my Bank Account in mid-Nov'11, I am yet to receive the subscription coupons which I am supposed to present to their vendor every month. They claim to have sent the coupons to me in Jan'12 but seems the courier agency tied-up by HT Media Ltd. has given a feedback to them that customer not available at premises. I have repeatedly assured HT's Subscription Dept that please call me so that I can collect the coupon, whenever executive visit for coupon delivery, but no one has visited me regarding this issue. However, I have been just following-up with them for over 2 months without any satisfactory response from them as yet. Hence, I hope someone from their offices reads this and looks into the matter. I would advise readers not to opt for the Hindustan Times's special offers like I did, if they wish to avoid the ordeal I am going through.

Dear Sir,

The coupons against the above subscription, though to be delivered by March 2012, have still not been delivered.

I have been following up with them from June 14, 2012.

Every time they have a standard reply :

Dear Mr. Narayanan,
Thank you for notifying us with your concern

Let me inform you that your HT Subscription coupons bearing coupon Number : 4445386 for the 2^nd year, is in process and will be dispatch to your registered address at the earliest. Also each coupon would have a grace period for 3 month, which is also mention on the coupons

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. We apologize for the inconvenience that has been caused.

HT Subscription Complaint

Hi,

my conusmer no. 4476275 have still not recived the coupans for secnond year. our newspaper vendor is always behine us for the coupan.

The Hindustan Times paper came with a new renewal scheme. It asks to pay around 550 for 1 year subscription which comes along with a "free" gift of a water bottle and tiffin box. Customers can avail of the offer without the free gifts of subscription of 249 per year. However, we cannot opt for a 1 year subscription for this. I was asked to subscribe for 2 years.
Why should we be forced to pay for 2 years when we want to subscribe only for an year???

I have booked the HT Subscription on 30.12.2012, my form no was 755344 and my executive name is D K Yadav, cell no 9167757301, I have paid Rs 499/- via cheque no 251042 drawn on HDFC Bank. I have booked the subscription of 499/- with gift worth Rs.400/-, but till today I have not recd my Gift which should come with the Subscription vouchers. I recd sub voucher only when I did follow up with Mr Yadav. I asked him about gift, he said that company does not have stock of gifts available, you will receive gift within next week. He has promised me for last 3 times but not received anything. I called on the call center many times they also promised me but still not recd any thing. Please investigate...
