    I updated my profile on IRCTC website on 21st Nov, 2011 to change my email id & current address. After updating my profile, the system displayed a message that your new password has been sent to your registered mail id. However when even after 1 hour I didn't received the password on my updated email id, I tried resetting it by using the forgot password option on the IRCTC website. But even after trying for 2-3 times I didn't received the password.So on 22nd Nov, 2011 I called up the Customer care and narrated them the whole issue. The Customer care representative, after checking in the database, told me that the updated email id in their database is "chandan_1981in@yahoo.om" instead of "chandan_1981in@yahoo.com". That was the reason I did not received any of the mails from IRCTC on my email id. He advised me to drop a mail to "care@irctc.co.in" giving the details. So as instructed I dropped a mail on care@irctc.co.in on 22nd Nov, 2011 and got my complaint # (15757).

    Even after telling the issue to the CR, I got a mail on 23rd Nov, 2011 that please send a mail from "chandan_1981in@yahoo.om" OR provide us Name, Residential address, Office address, Date of birth, phone number to assist you in getting the new password and to check the authenticity of the mail. I provided the details to them on the same day. However I didn't the password on 23rd Nov, 2011. So I called them again on 24th Nov, 2011 and gave my complaint #. The CR told me that I'll get the password by evening. But even today I didn't received the password. I need to cancel a few tickets,which I booked using my IRCTC id. But since I don't have the PNR number's of the same, I'm not able to cancel them or give the IRCTC persons the required details to cancel them.

    Kindly assist me to get the issue resolved at the earliest.
