This is Anil Shenoy, I had recently accquired Rs. 1000/- Pantaloon Coupon by redeming my credit card points. The Coupon which i received had stated that this coupon is not applicable to end of season sale and winter sale. Today i went shopping to purchase a Tisha Branded Silk Kurta worth 1199/- & Patani pajama worth 699/- from their Pantaloon store in Santacruz (Milan Mall). The Sales executive informed me that since i am buying the complete set i will be eligible for Rs 100/- discount and since the overall shoping was over 1200/- , i will also be eligible for another gift worth 400/-. Let me clarify that this was neither a end of season sale offer nor a winter sale offer. When i presented the coupon & my credit card for making the payment, they said if i am paying through coupon this offer is not valid. When i questioned them that this is not mentioned in the coupon, they mentioned this is our policy , even if it is not mentioned in the coupon, we would not provide you this offer. On Persisting, the floor manager Mr. Mahindra called up his Customer service desk help head (Ms. shikha agarwal), she communicated the same. When i spoke to her, she firstly communicated her wrong name as pooja Chaudhary, and then rudely spoke to me and canceled the call. Wehn itold them to give me in writing that they would accept the coupon and offer me the discount & gift, they said they would not do that. This is a clear case of insulting & duping the customer. Hence want to lodge a complain and take this to conclusion so they do not haress other customers.
